    I don't know. I'd classify them as "other". After a while, Jason just became a corpse animated by his spirit for the purpose of vengeance/slaughter. Frankenstein's monster is just something else.

    You wanna go there? Fine. A "real" zombie? A "real" zombie is a living human that has had their will taken away by a Voodoo practitioner. Therefore, Resident Evil creatures are not zombies.

    Agreed (maybe they're trying to go the Addams Family route? Most of them looked normalish; it was the behavior that set them apart) and agreed. Still, some part of me delights at the idea of Eddie Izzard playing Grandpa.
