Nick, I don't know if you've played Tekken 5 yet. But if you haven't, you will hate the last boss, he's such a fucking cheat, and when you get him as a character he's not near as good.

Damn straight, I'm not sure what came first Moogles or Mr. Saturns but I honestly think one kind of played off the other in some way. Yes I strongly urge you to find a Sega Genesis emulator and a rom of Shining Focre 2 go out and search for a Shining Force 2 cartridge and obtain it by completely legal means and play it, the first one wasn't great but the sequal is... amazing to say the least. The first Breath of Fire was booooooring and yes there were far too many random encounters (Squaresoft seems to get quite a chubby for random battles so they overpopulate the game with them) but Breath of Fire 2 was an excellent game and 3 was just as good. I also forgot to add Secret of Mana to that list, I don't know how I always forget that one. Anyway, back on topic. The thing you said about Earthbound being a parodyish type game puts it in better perspective, I had always just attributed monsters like the "New Age Retro Hippy" to being simply odd Japanese people (any people whose mythology involves a raccoon that can manipulate the size of its testicles is a little off in my book) But some of the things such as Lord Belch and the Bubble Monkey as well as the "magic cake" just struck me as a little odd, but now I get the idea.

My wallet hurts.

I love this game, this is on my oh-so-small list of RPGs that I ablsolutely love with Final Fantasy 3/6, Phantasy Star 4, Shining Force 2, Chrono Trigger, and Breath of Fire 2. I liked how you could set the battles to auto on this one so you didn't actually have to fight. And how did you not mention Mr. Saturn?!

Ah yes, the Warmech, that thing was indeed a bitch.

Well now that FF 2 and 5 have been US released, the only one that hasn't is 3, I don't know.

What's everybody's opinion on 1 - 6?

Hey now, "I'm confused" was Beth's and "I'm with D Man" was mine. He outdoes me without any help from my work thank you very much.

I don't know when it was, but at one time Avenger's Mansion was Sovreign territory, I don't know what happened with that. I was also pissed to find out that the New Avengers (Much like The New Fantastic Four) was just a shortlived team used to sell more comics before dumping readers back into the same old shit. Spider-Man and Luke Cage are going back to their respective places, no doubt Wolverine will go off and do his own thing, I don't know ANYTHING about Ronin at all, but SpiderWoman, Captain America, Iron-Man, and Sentry will probably stay. On another note, I hope they never bring back Jack of Hearts, what a waste of ink. The guy spent his time in the comic dying, I mean so did Iron-Man origionally, but he got better, not worse.

D Man doesn't debate, he just copies other peoples costumes and is totally fucking awesome. I stand by my choice.

The Brosnan years were yawn inspiring to me, I've never been so bored while watching things explode. This is the first time I've ever been excited about a Bond film (seeing as all the Connery ones came out before I was born) and I like the way it looks. I've got high hopes for this movie.

Honestly Sonny, 10 was shit. I mean Auron was cool, Kimahri had his moments, and Lulu is one of the hottest video game characters in the history of... ever. But with long tedious quest even for a Final Fantasy game, horrible voice acting, most of the main characters being entirely abnoxious, dull storyline, linear gameplay, the sphere grid, and the most suck ending of a videogame ever. The bad just outweigh the good.

The characters cursed in Final Fantasy 8 too.

I thought 7 was good, but for me six will always be my favorite. I'm sorry but Kefka is just cooler than Sephiroth even though Seph looks cooler.

New season coming very soon, I'm can't wait.

For PS2... not since 1998 has this many games I love come out at once... ah.
