  1. I would like to add "The Monster of Boggy Swamp 2" to the list of great ones and there was another movie, I dont remember the name, but it involved a blonde mulleted scientist making a small prop plane into a time machine, anybody know that one?
  2. I'd best not, because I'd heard great reviews of The Hazing, and that movie was shat.
  3. The fuckin' Hulkster, naturally. I mean come on? A guy who shoots crocs, or a guy who can fucking wrestle a croc? The common thread between the two is that both of them sucked once they went Hollywood.
  4. I've heard about this and it sounds interesting. If you were to compare it to a movie in terms of humor, what would it be?
  5. Yeah I realize that now, oh well, it sounded good in my head.
  6. Every time I think of this movie I just smile thinking of all the poor suckers who got it thinking it was a sequel to 28 Days. Heh heh.
  7. Well Evil Dead's considered a zombie film and technically those were just possessed humans. You know, it's all in how you look at it. And you're right, it was thanks to 28 Days Later that Romero got to go back to directing.
  8. I got a funny mental image of them trying to find a way to somehow incorporate Bill Paxton. Anyway does anybody know if this story is even gonna be about Jim and... shit what the other two's names? Or is it gonna pull a Romero and be about an entirely different group of people in England? As for the origional I thought it was brilliant, the only part that pissed me off was they called it one of the most origional zombie movies of all time when most of the concepts were the same as many other zombie films.
  9. Many argue that the director was what was wrong with the origional. I honestly don't think a sequel is gonna turn it into Latex-Nemesis vs. Super Bitch
  10. I picked this up last night on DVD, they must have cut out this awesome hammer scene because I saw him hit a few guys with it and but that was really it and none of it was really gruesome. Also I hated the ending, I mean
  11. You live in Ireland, how many snakes have you ever actually seen?
  12. Yeah but that's still: Halo (which you can also get on PC) Halo 2 Shenmue 2 (heh, sailors) Panzer Dragoon Orta Jet Set Radio (Not as good as Jet Grind Radio) Armed and Dangerous (iff) I am not going to buy a system with 6 games that I want to play, 4 of which came out at pretty much the time of realease, or not too long after. Glorified paperweight I says.
  13. I strongly agree with Newtype, Xbox was a waste of money cause once you beat both Halos there was nothing to do.
  14. What's all this then (it does mean I can use the slang and it wont be ironic at all ) I dont like football or soccer, I'm a fan of hockey, though it's just been Extreme Protesting lately.
  15. Meh, not a big deal, just wondered.
  16. I've a quick question... why is the little thingy under my member title a british flag? Did I get deported and not know it?
  17. They lost a bit of steam it's true, but I mean that's bound to happen I dont care how good of writers you have. Most of the steam they've lost is in the flashbacks. It's gotten to the point where the only characters I wanna see flashbacks from are Eko, Locke, Charlie, and Desmond. The Bernard and Rose flashback was particularly snore inducing. But what are you gonna do? But they've kept the main storyline pretty good, I still havent missed an episode and will probably get season 2 on DVD just like season 1.
  18. You know, I didnt even notice the lisp, maybe I was just too enthrallled with thinking "OMFG THAT'S KUNG FU!"
  19. Hmm, somehow missed this thread. Yeah Season 2 was kind of boring in comparison to the first. Though the producer said that he hopes not to prolongue the series he hopes for 5 seaons and a movie, whether he meant five MORE seasons or just five seasons all together I dont know. We need more Eko in season 3 dammit!
  20. Well that explains that then, you dont like Carradine, you dont like Volume 2. The two go together.
  21. I'm gonna say what I've said on the Knoll countless times. Lucy Liu, Daryl Hannah, and Vivica A. Fox BAD actors Gordon Lieu, John Carradine, and Michael Madsen GOOD actors Kill Bill Volume 1 just seemed like a lot of wasted potential in my eyes, and during the Crazy 88 fight scene I got to checking my watch and thinking "when the fuck is this thing gonna end?" I mean the Volume 1 was action packed and fast paced and exciting, Volume 2 actually seemed like Quentin Tarantino was the one directing. I laughed through most of Volume 1, the badass lines just came across as cheesy. These are NOT exact as I'm doing them from memory: "Alright, nows let's get the rest of these piggies wiggling" "You may go, but any body parts leave them, they are mine now!" shit like that and the fact that all the Japanese people shot geysers when they bled but ONLY the Japanese people, it just wasnt as good as I'd hoped and maybe I'd had my expectations lowered after the first one which was why I liked the second one so well. (I watched them both in one night)
