  1. Mike...you gotta hear "Hitman Sammy Sam - Step Daddy", that song's a fuckin trip, you might feel a part of it.
  2. Top 5 songs 1) Ennio Morricone - "Theme to The Good, The Bad & The Ugly" (The Vandals do a cool cover during the first 20 seconds or so of "I want to be a cowboy") 2) Marty Robbins - "Streets of Laredo" 3) Kid Rock - "Cowboy" 4) Johnny Cash - "Wanted Man" (Thorogood's cover's good too) 5) Jon Bon Jovi - "Dead or Alive" (cheesy but i dont care) Runners up: Traivs Tritt "The Cowboy Way", Marty Robbins "I'm gonna be a cowboy", Styx "Renegade", Cash or Robbins' cover of "Ghost Riders in the sky"
  3. Eh, ive said my piece: as a comic fan i enjoyed it but it couldve been better at parts, the transitions werent always there, feels like stuff was missing, some bits were rushed. It was worth seein but honestly i wanted to like it more than i did....but that's the objective review, as a comic fan of course i dug it. Then again after shit like Captain America, you can all but teabag me with a comic flick and im like "it wasnt so bad!" Effects were a highlight, everyone here's said it but the way they did DD's vision/senses was a great fuckin idea i thought. Catch it if you can, especially if you dig the character. Jax - according to Wizard (comic mag) Daredevil stayed at the # 1 spot for 2 weeks, you sure its gonna lose $?
  4. You know, thats true, i dont even think i mentioned the soundtrack...its fucking beautiful. I wanna say Yoyo ma (sp) did a part of it.
  5. ...so now Scooter's taken up the habit of runnin in front of me when im in a hurry, gettin stepped on, then crying for pity until i feed him. He's like those people who jump in front of buses for lawsuits.
  6. I think my barber's hittin on me. If im right...well, im flattered, but he's not my type, what with the whole "he's got a pee pee too" thing.
  7. That's actually IV, Easy Type...right, ill go back to my room now. PS you dug VII. And you never played the later ones, they got cinematic, its cool...but ill agree that im eager to see non turn-based stuff. Seriously tho, if i had the source code in front of me, you know itd be all in-jokes of the board, itd be cool. Benny said he left it with Yahven and its been gone since.... anyway, yeah Tangent Man might lay the smack-down so back to Mike's search: again, if your older chopshops dont work, lemme know, im sure there's members here with good burns of more recent ones. As for learning it, yeah, a book - or even a class - would be cool, but i hear you can learn much just messin with it. Jont's a pro, i think Chief and Jax have messed with it a bit.
  8. Hah...hey if idve seen the source code i prolly woudla given it a go, you know i always kinda wanted to write one of them. I think Yahvne knows some PHP, no? As for CAD...seriously Mike if you wanna try that one lemme bother for burns, that shit's a down payment on house if you buy it new. ps Dont rank on Shit Fantasy XIIXIIXIX unless you give it a try, PC ho!
  9. Top 5 rap albums i know of aka top 5 i played the hell out of (the order's not set in stone) 1) Wu-Tang Clan "Enter the 36 Chambers" 2) A Tribe Called Quest "Midnight Marauders" 3) Notorious BIG "Ready to Die" 4) Nas "Illmatic" 5) god i wanna put Run DMC "Raising Hell" here but its more likely somewhere between NWA's "Straight outta Compton" and Dr Dre's "The Chronic" runner up: my old casette of LL Cool J's "Walking with a panther"
  10. In 50 Cent's "21 questions" - a great song, by the way - he only asks 19. If you count Nate Dogg in the chorus, its 21, but then if you count his last bit at the end "Could you love me in a bentley/could you love me in a bus?" its 23. Anyway, the man's got a lotta questions.
  11. Well, i really wanged it up today. ??? + I haggled lower APR on credit card, delayed some bills - Didnt interview with anyone today, so really all i did was delay the inevitable. Productivity-wise, its the equivalent of a fat guy "not eating much today"; congrats wideload, youve still got a lotta past behind you.
  12. See, now this one's clever: no more effective way to garuntee people get intersted in your shit than spawn a group that says not to listen. ...and so on. Clever, eh? Admit it, you have no fuckin idea who these people are yet youre curious about their lyrics. Theyre hopin for the kinda exposure 2 Live Crew got back in the day in miami when they were banned.
  13. for starters? Using Kazaa or Hotline and the software like the rest of us, chopshop aint cheap from what im told... but shop, ive seen so much cool shit done. Again, Jont did mine, KOS & SOF's avatars, a friend of mine did a few anime music videos, etc....im told no one knows the full extent of what that program could do, but the way i see you manipulate paint, i bet youd go :monkey: shit over the tweaking options. I think or someone here used bryce. Hopefully Chief, Silent Bob & others will see this, i think they know a bit more about it...but man, if you go to buy some of these legit, i hope you got $.
  14. There are, in more independent titles anyway. I never read much War Machine (that was Chief's department), not sure if they used the minority card for leverage with the character or not...I can see what youre sayin tho, creating black characters who, at their core, are mostly just black, does come off somethin of racist itself. Im thinkin The Ultimates' Nick Fury is actually doin ok with that. Anyway, nothin this cap series can do would offend me as much as some of Stan Lee's Imagine shit. Five bucks a pop, to have that greedy old fuck teabag me with stories about more wrestlers...
  15. top 5 songs current on nick TM's winamp playlist: 1) Nas - I can 2) 50 Cent featuring Nate Dogg - 21 questions 3) R.Kelly - Ignition (remix) 4) Common & Mary J. Blige - Come to me 5) Bon Jovi - Dead or alive (acoustic version - pretty left field for the mood, granted, but its in my head) runners up: Chicane - Lost you somewhere, Cold Play - Clocks
  16. I wish more people out there were pushing positivity like Nas. If you havent heard his new one on the radio "I Can", do so when you can. What a great fuckin song. "Be, be, 'fore we came to this country We were kings and queens, never porch monkeys ...If the truth is told, the youth can grow They learn to survive until they gain control Nobody says you have to be gangstas, hoes Read more, learn more; change the...globe." :D
  17. Dear Wal-Mart: How bout this..ill work for you for a day, and you gimme Zelda. I'm a hard worker, and prolly wouldve just stolen the game anyway...think about it.
  18. Just tried the cup-o-soup noodle alfredo instant thingy.. :ill: leave it alone.
  19. Haha...the one of him painting the highway, that's one of my favorites... here's some good moments in lieu of our FTP:
  20. Hah...i give runner up to naked chick. Oh, and the blonde who got a disease from riding a tractor...and Mulva.
  21. Ok, it was bound to happen...who was the highlight of Seinfeld for you, and why? Hah, watch this thing spawn a poll of "best episode" & such... I know the popular vote goes with Kramer, and he's cool, but I fuckin loved George. When everyone was doing there thing and the show's goin chaotic, George is out pinching pennies, stealing things, pushing old ladies out of his way in burning buildings, being caught masturbating, or competing with other short balding men. :kitty: and ohters who'd watch it with me hated his charcater, i thought that was supopsed to be part of his charm (like Bill Murray in "Kingpin")....anyway lets hear it people!
  22. Caint nobody fuck with Mullet Man.
  23. Hey, youe still alive... Well i cant say ive seen the idea that much in comics (certainly in movies) but after the last issue i read i wasnt as hyped, and was willing to admit the art isnt fitting like it seemed it might....im hopin it turns out better by its end. The Joe Ninja thing...nah outside of the Spidey clone thing i dont think we'll see anythin like that, hopefully. But i remember, we used to always debate this stuff...you felt the same way on the recent comic movies, that it was good they got some attention but they didnt have to be mediocre. I still say you were harsh on X-Men but there were plot points where Spidey & Daredevil couldve been better. Anyway, the book's premise didnt really strike me as racist as much as portrayin the times, but according to Wizard there's a lotta people writing in to Marvel callin the book racist, so you aint alone there anyway.
  24. Uhm...is it a movie? I dont think ive heard of it....
