  1. OHHHhhh...did i say 'fanboy'? My mistake. I meant fan-howactuallybuysgoodCapcomgames-boy...yeah...i missed that minor detail there. well, it wasnt bad, but i was busy with Street Fighter games at the time...i did beat it though...i heard 3 on the Xbox sucked ass...it was like Dinos in the future and in space...wasnt sure...didnt care. Now Dino Stalker...thats was a piece of shit.
  2. Twas a joke..'sides, my list of bought games is pretty one sided. Most are Capcom (80%)...few Konami. But mostly Capcom (did i mention '80%'...im a fanboy).
  3. Ahh...i remember those days when i tried making peace with games. Has it really been a decade...wow...how time flies. I remember those days of PSone disc swapping. So...can this list include games I wrote the names on by hand or just those i dropped munny for?
  4. FPS Creator - MAN...i cant get off this thing...its keeping me from working on my skool stuff...here's a screen of the one test level i did:
  5. Yeah, FPS Creator is a PC title. Its pretty cool shit, but i wont have the time to really fuck with it 'till December. If you are into DDR, yeah try Dance Factory...you wont have music videos and stuff, but at least you can create little avatars that dance with you...in a versus match, they fight whoever ur playing against. As for Disgaea, well, theres tons of shit to do (side quests and stuff)...i think thats why that person u mentioned isnt done yet. But yeah its a badass game. Check this shit, another user-made screen from FPS Creator: I actually downloaded a level some dude did the day he got the software...it wasnt great, but it shows what you can do with very little time. http://files.filefront.com/Shrine_Arenazip...;/fileinfo.html
  6. Disgaea 2 - Haven't been in it too much (like an hour or so), but like its predecessor, IT ROCKS! If any of you liked FF Tactics at all, the Disgaea series in (IMO) the next best thing. Its got some pretty-out-there summons and spells. The story is entertaning (check out the anime too), and the gameplay is just badass. My favorite Tactics game this generation so far. Dance Factory - Alright, you gotta be into DDR for this one. Basically, the thing about this game is that you can actually put in your own music CDs and it will create the arrows for you. That way you dont have to put up with all that euro-trash you find in the DDR series. This is a geeky-ass game right here... FPS Creator - OK. I do the whole 3D thing in skool. So i like making models and animations and such. But the coding sucks ass (although im getting the hang of it). But this 'game' gets rid of at least 95% of all coding. The only time you 'code', ur pretty much guided and that's only when you are doing custom stuff. This game (actually its an editor more than anything) comes with tons of presets..not the greatest of quality, but you have COMPLETE control over your level making. It has a full physics system, multi-player, you can import(say u made something in UT2004, u can put it in this game). I really cant go into detail without writing a page or two about it, but trust me. If you like FPS games...you HAVE to give this a try. Its the easiest way to make your own. Best of all, you can actually sell your game and not have to pay the company a dime. I do have to point out that the games graphics are not limited to what you see in the presets...you can make your games look pretty nice...just not very next-gen. But if you really try, ur games could end up looking like this: ok. Im out.
  7. Dirge of Cerberus: Final Fantasy VII - I finally beat the game...while its not great, the story was decent and brings a sort of closure to Vincent. Much like Advent Children did for Cloud. But it seems like a sequel will spawn from this game...if u get the secret ending. But if ur a fan of FFVII, play it for the story. 3rd Strike and CvS 2 - I still have to get back to these games....
  8. Dude! We are totally on the same boat with the Alpha 2 comment. It was my fave out of the three. However, i feel that 3rd Strike and CvS2 are tops for me. Its so hard for me to pick which is my favorite among the two. ok So.... Dirge of Cerberus: Final Fantasy VII - So i finally got a chance to play the US version. And yes, its better than the Japanese version...by a little though. It has been noticably tweaked (Vincent runs faster and he's got a double jump by default now). And although the story is interesting, characters are nifty( that one-eyed chick is hot) and some of the gameplay mechanics are cool (customizing is badass), this game isnt for everybody. Im not much into the 3rd person shooter on a console (although you can hook up a keyboard and mouse), but i have to beat it cuz i love FFVII so much. I'm still at lvl 5 because of my goddamn thesis, so playing is gonna have to wait. U____U 3rd Strike and CvS 2 - i need to get back into these games as soon as possible...
  9. Yes, good call. The minibosses are badass! i suggest anyone with an 8-bit heart take a listen...im not sure their entire library of music is available for download, but if anyone wants it, ill upload it. Heh, i ought to take a shot of my library of video game and japanese music folder...i burnt it off not too long ago.
  10. Dude...you can't forget the Canadian Ninjas!
  11. Good thread! MeltyBlood Act Cadenza - Well, its nearly the same game i have on my PC, but its got some new characters and it feels a tad more balanced. Warms my heart to see 2D fighters still coming out. The Rumble Fish - Its ok...just has like 12 people and thats it, but at least its got some interesting ideas for super moves and such. Its got some nice character designs. Menus are pretty. Trying get the combo system down. Dirge of Cerberus: Final Fantasy VII - OK...i have the import and it was not that great...I just got the US version and im hoping its a tad better...plus i can finally understand whats going on.
  12. Oh yeah...forgot about Lord British! Very true...you have to give that psycho props for Ultima. Richard Garriott lives in an effing castle, you can't deny a man props when he's got a moat around his home. I just never got into the game is all. But yes, Richard Garriott does deserve his hoorahs.
  13. Wel, i really wish i had lots of the shwag I see here...all i really got are tons of rolled-up posters (some hangin in my room [DMC3, Viewtiful Joe 2]), um...my Resident Evil canteen and face mask. My PlayStation logo cap, a few Final Fantasy buttons, Viewtiful Joe bobble-heads, uh...i dunno just a crap-load of stuff i jacked from GameStop...Hey! i got an idea...i'll rummage around for stuff and make a sort of auction (not for munny or anything). ill try to figure something out. You just may win a sealed demo of Quake 3.
  14. I saw this game being played in skool, man...it's the shit. It would have been nice to see this in other consoles...even if it cant take as many zombies. But yeah, Capcom rocks for this one.
  15. i have this game, and yeah its kool. But if you really are passionate about making VG movies/skits (Red vs. Blue) and such...look up Macinima (machine cinema or machine animation). This way you can make your own situations involving your favorite games. Heh...i once made a small clip with the old UT engine...really kool stuff, but its time consuming.
  16. While i can't vote for one, I do have to say that they are all factors in the shaping of todays games. Miyamoto is just a bad ass...but others like Kojima and Sakaguchi shaped certain genres to what they are today. With out Metal Gear, there would be no Splinter Cell.Without Final Fantasy, there would be no...well you get the idea. Anywho...where the hell is Noritaka Funamizu. Without that guy, fighting games wouldn't be what they are today. My real point is that there is no greatest in my opinion. Only who you appreciate most. FUNAMIZU NIGGAZ!!!!

  19. wow, i didnt even know some of 'em were 40. HEY...you got Sarah Jessica Parker and not Kim Cattrall. i gotta pick Kim over SJP any day (for some reason, i cant stand looking at SJP's face).
  20. nice chick...but did you size down the images?
