I have an emotional connection to this series, in a way. For my birthday in 2021 (so the last birthday of mine that Jenn and I spent together), Jenn got me the PS5 version of Miles Morales (that also came with the version of Spider-Man that was remastered for the PS5), and I just devoured them. Like back-to-back, just went to town. I remember just thanking her profusely after beating Miles Morales. So, I dunno, I fell like this is kind of a continuation of that. It's not painful for some reason like most memories still are. We bonded over video games, so it kind of feels like I owe it to her in a way. Anyway, I reiterate, I cannot wait for this game

I'm reviving this thread because I actually went to a restaurant featured in an episode of Kitchen Nightmares. Jenn and I used to watch this show all the time, and when I learned that one of the (few) success stories was right around the corner, well....I had to. (This is an old picture from a couple years ago, but it looks about the same) Some of you might remember the episode about Pantaleone's, the so-called "Best pizza in Denver". If not, here's the episode, lol ANYWAY. Like I said, the pizzeria is only about 20 minutes from my house. They're currently only doing pick up and delivery (and it looks like they may have sold off the part of the restaurant that had the dine-in section. Anyway, I ordered a Pepperoni and Mushroom 12-inch pizza (it was a better online ordering experience than most places in this area, even) and headed on over. And fuckin' PETE is sitting at a table sorting out bills or something when I walked in. It was really weird meeting this dude from a random Kitchen Nightmares episode. I told him that I'd wanted to try his pizza for years, and he just smiled and chuckled. ANYWAY: It's fucking amazing. Not the super greasy mess from the episode. Everything about this pizza is on point. If you're ever in the area, hit me up and we'll share a pie.

I lied. I like my SWOLED. Also, I'm having a blast just doing random shit in TotK. I'm trying to make it back to some of the earlier villages from BotW (Hateno, etc) to try to get my bearings in this version of the world. Also, some of your BotW data carries over (horses at stables, etc) I've got a 65 inch OLED TV coming in on Wednesday, so I'm holding off on getting too deep into the game until then (I've also been saving the H:FW DLC for that)

I mean, we can, but it's just a pain in the ass. The snow effect that (some) people are able to see currently? I had to fucking find somewhere to upload assets for the board (like, the ability to do that was buried deep in the backend [giggity] somewheres). Then I had to basically post somewhere with that asset and figure out where it had been stored, and then just effectively hotlink to ourselves. I do want to note that this will still take planning (both logistically and financially), so keep me in the loop if opinion starts swaying more in that direction.
