F.L.I.P.
scorpions, no. I did eat a cooked cricket's head that was baked in a chocolate chip cookie once and also a cooked meal worm. i don't think i would ever eat a scorpion and such. The NZA
yeah, ive had chocolate covered ants...what's considered weird, though? eating a dog, or monkey brains, or wha? first person admitting to eating a horse still gets banned
F.L.I.P.
eating dog in some cultures is not considered weird :-p
The NZA
very true...it'd be weird here though, no? i mean, i'd be surprised if i a hondonian said they had...then i'd be curious how it tastes (one dude told me "pork-like".) i wonder how hungry/curious id have to be to try it and not think about dogs in my past. The NZA
yes, and we often pay extra for it
MetalHeart
I do neither of these things. Blech!
Aartemys
Cheese in a can is good when you're drunk, lol... The "butter" that they put on the popcorn seems more like its pure oil, IMO...I used to but not anymore. I think I love my arteries a bit more than that. Benz
Fried Pickles. Aarty and I encountered them in Pennsylvania. Apparently they're common there. They're not bad, but not great. At least the ones we had...
Aartemys
I've now seen them on loads of menus...Geez, these Americans will fry ANYTHING!
Thelogan
Fried pickles are common as hell down here. I'm a big fan, I dip 'em in ranch (I dip everything in ranch) . They usually come sliced though, not whole damn spears like in that pic, and are sometimes lightly sprinkled with seasoned salt.
Aartemys
The place in PA where we ate them, it was spear form. The way I've seen them in menu's around here, they are in chip form. I've had deep-fried zucchini but it was so soggy in the middle <gag>
Thelogan
Ewwwww, soggies Yeah, fried zucchini is fairly common here too. But this is Texas so, as far as fried food goes , I can say that about ANYTHING!
Lorelei
i find all that fried texan food really weird, and quite disgusting. also, i was told (by a canadian) "cookies and milk" doesn't mean a glass of milk and a couple cookies. what i was told is that you fill up your mug with cookies (which is excessive as it is) and then pour milk into the glass and eat the soggy contents. i dunno, it just seems good food is anything that's over the top unhealthy for you in some places
