TulipO Posted November 3, 2006 Posted November 3, 2006 Anyone else psyched about this? My roommate went as Borat for Halloween, you can check out his picture on my myspace.
The NZA Posted November 3, 2006 Posted November 3, 2006 really? i gotta see that. I havent watched the trailer yet, but for me, Borat was even better than watching Ali G most times, so im interested.
MetalHeart Posted November 3, 2006 Posted November 3, 2006 The trailer is good stuff! I love Borat and the Ali G Show. Cj and I watched some stuff of him at different premiers, and that pretty funny heh. Going to see this tomorrow!
Reverend Jax Posted November 3, 2006 Posted November 3, 2006 The reviews are VERY good. Many are giing praise BETTER than funniest film of the year. Lots are saying funniest film in many years, or ever. I'm seeing it tomorrow with my sister.
Lycaon Posted November 3, 2006 Posted November 3, 2006 Very much looking forward to seeing it. Unfortunately, I won't be able to see it until next week (going to Texas Ren. Faire for the weekend). Yall should've seen his appearacnes on Conan and the Daily Show. Very nice funny
MetalHeart Posted November 3, 2006 Posted November 3, 2006 ...I didn't see the pic on your myspace, Tu?? OK There are about three major theaters pretty close to me. My favorite being Movie Tavern... but THEY DON'T HAVE FUCKING BORAT. Metal Heart: I wish they had it at Movie Tavern!Darth Fluffakins: its at the studio movie grill here? Darth Fluffakins: have you looked it up, whats your zip code? Metal Heart: I checked. 76021 Metal Heart: It's at Rave and AMC30 so that's good Metal Heart: GOD you know what pisses me off? Darth Fluffakins: what? Darth Fluffakins: jews? Darth Fluffakins: christians? Metal Heart: They aren't showing Borat, but Movie Tavern is showing SANTA CLAUSE 3: THE ESCAPE CLAUSE AS;LDKFJA;LKJSGL;AKJW;ELIJTPOGIWHERGIOAWJEO;GJALWEJGAl;wegt Darth Fluffakins: POUND THAT FUCKING KEYBOARD! Metal Heart: what the fucking cunt fuck?! shitty cunt logs! stupid! what a stupid movie! Darth Fluffakins: hahaha Metal Heart: It has Martin Short though. I like him, but STPUIDA;SLKDFJCAN'TTYPE Darth Fluffakins: yeah I feel ya Yeah that's how I feel about it. Fuck you, Movie Tavern! While I will continue to love your $4 matinee ticket price and delicious alcoholic beverages while I watch my movie, a little part of me has officially died inside! Now I have to go to Rave or AMC. Rave is ok when there aren't tweens running amuck... it doesn't help that the parking is shitty and right next to North East Mall, either. sighhhh. Prolly gonna hit up AMC tonight or Rave tomorrow as early as possible to see this. It's being called "quite possibly the funniest movie in YEARS". Excitement!
TulipO Posted November 3, 2006 Author Posted November 3, 2006 Oh that's because you have to go to my friend Peyton's profile. He's in my top 8! I like!!!

La Lindsay Posted November 4, 2006 Posted November 4, 2006 this is one of the funniest movies i've seen in a very very very long time. i can't even pinpoint my favorite part because there were many. it also makes much of america look (somewhat appropriately) like a bunch of racist/prejudiced assholes.
Reverend Jax Posted November 4, 2006 Posted November 4, 2006 i can't even pinpoint my favorite part because there were many. There were many good parts, but my favorite has to be » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « The naked fight that made it's way into the conference room. The movie was wasn't all that good though. ....NOT!!!
Ganny McVagflaps Posted November 4, 2006 Posted November 4, 2006 I laughed so much from » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « the naked fight my face hurt all night. It's Nice!
Reverend Jax Posted November 4, 2006 Posted November 4, 2006 Upon reflection, I think that » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « them throwing money and the shape-shifting jew cockroaches was the runner-up for funniest scene after » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « the naked fight Very nice.
Ganny McVagflaps Posted November 4, 2006 Posted November 4, 2006 I agree. The » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « look of horror on his face when he discovered they were jews was great too.
Senshik Posted November 4, 2006 Posted November 4, 2006 This movie... it's.... what comedies... are all about. My favorite parts have to the » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « IN the begining RUNNING FROM JEWS FESTIVAL! At the Jew's Place... throwing money at the roaches, hysterical! and The part where he wants Gypsy Tears from this chick who has a garage sale. "Gypsy! I need gypsy tears. You need to give them to me, or I will take them!" "(while picking up a barbie doll) And who is this person you have shrunk?" "(while looking at a black book) Is this your book of spells GYPSY!?"

Reverend Jax Posted November 5, 2006 Posted November 5, 2006 » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « bagging pamela was a brilliant scene My sister and I spent like an hour discussign which scene the people around Borat were in on the gag and which scene where people were obvilious. » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « the Pamela scene strikes me as something they could get sued for if not staged. I love that when he asked her to marry him, she casually replied 'no thanks.' The NZA Posted November 5, 2006 Posted November 5, 2006 this was everyting i was hoping for in a comedy. i dont normally do comedies at the theatre, but this was totally worth it. Dont get me wrong, the Ali G movie was fun, but fuck i could see this again. » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « some of my favorite lines that didnt get mentioned yet: "im going to look at your treatures now, gyspy. do you understand?" "say goodbye to your clock radio, asshole!" "can you install this pussy magnet in here? how much?" "You made hand-party on my pamela!!" "it very nice, you eating with retard." "I want car that get de woman with the shaving down below." "Oh, you want a porsche." "The jews have shifted shape! No, throw more money at them!!" "Asshole neighbor only has i-pod mini! everyone know is for girls!!" the kazistan anthem was so touching, i stood up and pledged allegience. and the children running from the ice cream bear...christ.
Ganny McVagflaps Posted November 5, 2006 Posted November 5, 2006 i dont normally do comedies at the theatre Really? I find that's the best way to see one.
The NZA Posted November 5, 2006 Posted November 5, 2006 nah, ill either rent or bootleg em if im gonna. there's only so many films im gonna go to the movies to see, and usually i try for the big epic ones that make use of all the equipment theatres have that i dont; if its a comedy, drama etc ill catch it on my own terms. once in a while, ill see one i wish idve caught in theatres, like uh, Fight Club, or Motorcycle Diaries. but comedy-wise, this was the first in a long, long time that i saw there and was glad for it.
The NZA Posted November 5, 2006 Posted November 5, 2006 i uh, havent seen it...i think i saw like one episode but no movies. am i missing out? same with harry potter, by the way. and the google.
Ganny McVagflaps Posted November 5, 2006 Posted November 5, 2006 So that's why Jax keeps calling you Nicholas Rotary Dial-Up Custer. Check out the movies. They're funny. Stupid funny, but funny. Some of the crazy shit that happens....ho boy, Hagrid, you are the living end.
