Most Disturbing Scene in a Movie

Recommended Posts

In the 1995 version of Village of the Damned,

one of the mothers is boiling this huge pot of water and her little girl is sitting in a high chair off to the side. The little girl starts staring at her and wills her to stick her hand into the pot.

I shudder thinking about it!

i have a pretty high tolerance for disturbing shit, so only two movies come to mind that were hard for me to watch:

pink flamingos...the entire movie. it's absolutely stomach-churning. it's one of those movies you have to see to believe, though i don't recommend it. and the most disturbing element is that almost everything is real (except for maybe the actual relationships between the people in the movie, e.g. mother/son, brother/sister, etc.). but still.

and

happiness...

anything involving the pedophilia storyline...i felt physically ill watching it and extremely uneasy.

also, in general, anytime someone's achilles is cut in a movie, it makes me cringe.

yeah, that's pretty disturbing that "adult video's all-time best selling series" is about an incestuous relationship between a brother and sister, even if it isn't real.

unfortunately, pink flamingos is much worse because it's not just about incest. that's just a small part of the movie.

by the way benny, welcome back!! (since i haven't really been around since you've returned)

Well, Bro/Sis is just part 2. Actually It's a whole family Mom/Son, Father/Daughter, Nieces and Uncles.

And if that's only a small part, then not worth watching cause that's the only part I'd be interested in. :2T:

I mean uh... >.

007 Licence To Kill. Several disturbing scenes in the movie:

1.

The scene where Anthony Zerbe's character is thrown into a depressurization tank. It shows his head swelling up and then when it explodes, it shows blood splattering on the portal of the tank. What a way to die!

2.

Benicio del Toro's character falls into a giant cocaine block grinder and gets crushed to death.

I'm not sure I'd classify myself a fan. It's not one of the better movies that Jeffrey Combs and Stuart Gordon did together. I still prefer Re-Animator, The Black Cat, and even From Beyond. But not Necrinomicon: Book of the Dead. That movie truly was shit.

You pick the strangest movies to be a fanatic of, come on even Jeffrey Combs wasn't on par in that movie.

Isn't Jeffrey Combs the same guy who played both Weyoun and Brunt in Star Trek: DS9?

Casino Royale, Where the aston does 7 rolls and gets thrashed royally

In the Special Features part of the DVD, the producers mention that this scene made it to the Guinness Book of World Records for the most times a vehicle has rolled continuously during a movie stunt.
