  1. Nothing about used, BC nixed. Gaikai shit was awesome - all games demoable through streaming, instantly. Games you're downloading can be played instantly while the rest of the data downloads in the background. System stores current state in RAM and then shuts down so resuming game is swift. Dual camera included with all systems. Ability to share video, stream current sessions, and surrender control to a PSN friend when you can't fucking hack it.
  2. Try to Angle that enthusiasm. We need to Circle up and Cross the PS3 out of our lives in order to Squarely put the PS4 in our hearts and homes. They have my money.
  3. all the fighting game movie jokes and nobody chose the camptastic DoA?
  4. See, in two those relentless enemy waves added to the terror because the smart thing to do was fight them off while searching for the exit before you ran outta ammo or health. DS3, I was never out of ammo, always with health to chug, and I was playing on hard. The horror in two was the pressure to make it out okay, which things like the limited save run and actual limited ammo contributed to. It was more of an action game than one, but the goal was to overcome, not overpower, the necromorphs.
  5. Didn't deserve any. It was good, but the glitches and loading issues were clearly overlooked in those judgments.
  6. Story's B-grade bad - tolerable, but not up to par. Reads like fanfiction, little internal consistency. Psychological horror? Relegated solely to the co-op partner for a total of three gameplay hours out of eighteen in the campaign. Not only that, but they're completely optional, meaning even if you ARE playing with somebody else, you can miss or even ignore them all. Gameplay isn't tuned. All enemy encounters are ambushes of six or more, the threat is in their numbers and not their power. They flood you, and you use a gun you made yourself to kill them quickly. It's not about dismemberment, it's about flooding them with ammo. All optional dungeons are reskins of the same warehouse. It's not a bad game, it's a meh game, and as a franchise swan song i just shake my head. They made everything too big with no real impact.
  7. http://kotaku.com/5983789/mass-effect-edition-of-risk-arrives-this-fall Yes. Yes? Yes? Yes.
  8. I'm going through Dead Space with a friend, and fully expect all future playthroughs to be Co-op as well. It's just a game that screamed that it wasn't made to be played solo, and as such I'm having an okay time. But so far, the combat hasn't been as punchy. We've had a few periods where we were genuinely afraid we were gonna get eaten, but we marshaled on.

  10. And now that we've seen what they did with The Walking Dead?
  11. You will be a wizard someday, Newtype. Hopefully.
  12. Having played it now, it feels no easier. If you honestly never got As on time the first time in a mission on preious games, id be surprised, and just knowing to vary your attacks and not get hit can keep your style high, and dodging has been made a LOT easier. The fact that the curve now made sss s and s B kinda puts my concerns with what you were saying to bed. I see a lot more Ss, but as many perfects as i thought i'd get. :p
  13. The only scoring system beyond my mastery was dmc2's. dmc3's was brutal but survivable, and four i sranked even dante must die, which i thought was nonsensical. Cant wait to rank this game, but i gotta work today. Boo work.
