  1. Holy crap, after multi this thing moves like its turbo edition in one player mode... Junker, you tried stage 5 yet?! fuck, i couldnt get past the first wave of knights! Seriously people..its about 3 keys or so to play...real easy to get into once you pickup the special moves...dont leave us hangin, we need more bad dudes!
  2. A reply! Thats a shame....no, the Shi'ar is shi't most times but the earlier Cassandra Nova arc "E is for extinction". Sorry to hear you didnt dig the trades you got tho, that sucks. For what its worth, if you ever feel like givin X-Men a go again, im told Bendis (who you seem to be a fan of, off of Ultimate Spidey & Alias) takes the helm of Ultimate X-men soon, might be worth checkin out, even if online...you know Marvel.com keeps the ultimate books online for free, right? Last month's stuff, but its cool.... PS didnt keep up with Alias past the first issue...any good? Feel free to start a topic in this corner on it if ya like.
  3. The Crow, obviously...The Saint has good techno on it, as did both Trainspotting cuts...uhm...i like Horner on Braveheart, but that might just be me (if were talkin instrumentals, Requiem for a Dream is fun). Rap-wise, Above the Rim was memorable, odd ones like Space Jam and Street Fighter were surprisingly good. Other rock stuff....Last Action Hero had some good ones...Does the Graduate with Simon & Garfunkl count?
  4. ? you understand how the internet works, right? Dial ups fine, im on DSL and it works the same...when have you played somethin that didnt work on a network card? Carmen Sandiego? Seriously; TD, Jax, Yahven etc - download this thing and lets get it goin, a gangfight against the computer (on easy) would be cool!
  5. Multiplayer...im not back in town till may. Multiplayer feature's cool as fuck (including computer players) but oddly his dialup hosted better than my shitty mock-DSL.
  6. Health is given from the skies like mana in the form of milk bottles. Its tricky too, cause you start drinkin and then someone comes along and beats your ass before you finsih - part of the teamwork is to protect the alky. It looked really funny today between me & Junker...one's gettin gangraped by like 3 henchman and a boss, the other one's striking a pose like he's in a sprite commercial. Again, we need more fighters, cmon people!
  7. Alright, spent half the afternoon playin this one with Junker..damn its cool. We need more people (and a better host i suspect, we play in kinda slo-mo) so into Topic O' the Week this one goes. its a quick 10 meg download, @ 50 megs fully installed, really cool beat-em-up. Cmon people join in!
  8. Man, people always gotta bust you out for playin gameboy in public. Its just like with mastrubation.
  9. You can get anything you want...at Alice's Restaraunt walk right, its around the back just a half a mile from the railroad track you can get anything you want at Alice's Restaraunt (excepting Alice)
  10. Tell me "Sleep now in the Fire" wasnt a cool ass video tho...
  11. Yeah wait how did that slip past me? :!: :link:
  12. Chief....you gotta answer my damn question and say what you want...ive got @ 250-300 megs worth of ROMs for those 3 systems... PS could you upload the emulators you use? I have Netscile & Genocyst (same program i think, just different platforms..its real easy to use, i love it) but my SNES one's never been that good, and they all need upgrading...
  13. If Junker dies, ill carry him around with a pitchfork... OK i was a ho about Road to Perdition but not with the others...i genuinely looked for theatres that played both Spirited Away & Bowling for Columbine when i moved here, nobody for a hundred miles or so was. Theatres here are weird...there's more than just AMC, bunch of fragmented ones fighting for movie rights, so youll actually have to find which one plays, say, Daredevil. In any event, im really happy to hear that this ones in theatres. I understand Mononoke Hime's dubbing was pretty professional; ive only watched this one sub'd but would like to take some people around here to see this one on the big screen, can anyone vouch for the dubs?
  14. I lean towards Konami but Capcom's a powerhouse, you cant really have a console without them, itd be dangerous if all their licenses ever went exclusive. Mega Man, Resident Evil/Biohazard, Street Fighter, Devil May Cry, Omnimusha, Strider, Breath of Fire, Puzzle Figher (see that one needs a sequel)...like US said, the list goes on and on, im sure im forgettin plenty of old school & arcade ones too. I think they have a hard time keepin up sometimes, honeslty. They keep their fighters 2-D (gorgeous mind you, but not where the industry's at these days), they milk their franchises - how many mega man games and resident evil re-releases? - and things like that. But they still come up with shit like Devil May Cry, their name on the label still implies quality to me. Im not so quick to forget their classics. You should look Capcom All-Stars up...i fear its been cancelled recently, hope im wrong... oh, and spiffy's mediocre at best at those fighters. Me, Chief & others school him often. PS i somehow forgot Ghouls & Ghosts and Final Fight, good calls. 1942 was classic, Alien Vs Predator (arcade) was badass.
  15. Wish we could..i think Chief said it involves a certain level of coding...everyone's hyped but no one's tried it yet, sadly... seriously, if you give this thing a go, post back on it, i wanna know how difficult it is to work with, it does sound like an amazing lil program. fucksake, all the old 2-D fighters, and PaRappa for some reason...
  16. Goddamn, that cant be right, thats huge! 7 gigs, ive had drives smaller than that... ???
  17. Psst...TD! Jumbie thinks his leaky bucket pip looks like a fucked up panda with a hat... you know, lookin at it, i can kinda see it...
  18. Ill download it tomorrow, but the pics look sharp and its looks like that old Streets of Rage/Double Dragon/Final Fight "if you see the buddha walkin around, beat the shit out of him!" game, this one should be cool. ps you people are gonna overuse the one, its for dead baby jokes & such.
  19. That's a good idea, i can do that. Ill give a quick general list if i can, let you know what i got, you tell me what to leave in a ROM folder on FTP 1... : Streets of Rage 1-3 Golden Axe, Shinobi, ToeJam & Earl, Sonic 1-3, Vectorman 1-2, NBA Jam, Moonwalker, Gunstar Heroes, Strider, Rambo III, Bonanza Bros, Castlevania Bloodlines, Double Dragon, etc.... : fuck. 165 of em, no lie, if you dig it request it, i might have it...if you want, instead of listing i could just screen capture the list and leave it in the ROM folder? : Castlevania IV, Contra III of course, all the FF games you dont care about (prolly), Actraiser, DK country 1-2, Zelda, Megaman X (only part 1, sorry), F-Zero, Final Fight, Smash TV, Starfox, Street Fighter II (i wanna say Wolrd Warrior?), Mario Kart, Mario world, Mario all stars, Mario bakes a cake etc. do you remember the Super Star Wars series for SNES? I thought it was cool, tricky controls tho..i have all 3, good games but hard. Turtles in Time, Metroid, Super Punch-Out, Off-Road, X-Men: Mutant Apocalypse (good one nobody played), Zobmies at my Neighbors, etc... Anyway i gots a lot. I can upload some now if ya want or have em burned for you when i get back in miami, your call Chiefy.
  20. Ill havta download some of these. Hey, do any of you know specifically what end of "Sleep Now in the Fire" Moore had a hand in? Im curious bout that.
  21. People, i know youve seen the connection. This board is gettin freaky & fallin apart whilst i skin it, meanwhile fellow member Robitsussin's fascination with this thread is gripping her mind. Rest assured: as your Town Sheriff, i can promise we will make it through these tough times. But we may havta put Robitusisns down. :shoot:  Its what she wouldve wanted, if she wasnt . She also wouldve wanted me to have her car.
  22. No problem..one copy of Way of the Rat, long as im in town in time to catch free comic day...and yeah, its a fun martial arts book about theives, cool fights and talking monkeys. Jumbie - Dork Tower, MLB - Way of the Rat...anyone else not gonna be near a comic shop around then and wants a free copy of somethin? Ulitmate X-Men's a cool book....
  23. See..from the trailer, this looked like one of the ones that was usin its good lines there, and mightve played up the black/white angle too much...Rock gets accused of that already but as Junker said, its a lot easier to pull in stand-up without the restraints of plot & such. I had hopes because Rock's been known to do some smart shit in his HBO show & such, shame to hear it turned out like this. Was hopin itd work out like im told Barber Shop did, been meanin to cacth that one.
  24. Sidenote: Jax, its just the skin in this board. Look around..if you see a skin you, Junker & everyone think would be better in here, lemme know over in Stonehenge. When does this flick come out again? Oh, just noticed Bob's comment on this being Gibson's opus...shoulda guessed that by what ive heard of his personal politics recently. All i know is, ill try to go into this one fair, ya know? Not looking for a "braveheart killer" or anythin like that, ill take this thing for itself...he's gonna have a hard enough time if this flick is really that lenghthy and still relies on emotions to convey the message.
  25. Well, fortunatly, TD was able to reserve the last copy at a nearby Wal-Mart and thusly i have Zelda 64: The Master Quest. Not a whole lot changed so far, tho some parts have felt more difficult. Zelda: Wind Waker was released recnetly, and sadly ive been unable to pay the remaning balance on my copy. However, reviews are comin in strong...here's one from Gameforms.com, one of the most legit game sites on the net...
