You know..Stonehenge's description says "enjoy DD's smallest forum", but its actually our 3rd smallest after "Software development project" and "announcements". ??? I hope after this semester, annoucements eats the project and Stonehenge is smallest again. I think ill go work with that South Park thread to help tidy it up.

Drunken Entropy Ok, so its done for now i guess....every corner should have its own skin, except the lyricist lounge & the bars (which will stay at default till we find another). I think its worth it. Some wont like Stonehenge's but i think its alright, the Lyceum is prolly the best new one, tho the others arent shabby. The "announcements" one..is gonna piss folks off. To use emotions, you kinda havta type backwards...youll see. Yahven may remove it later but its interestin for now. Yahven & I are constantly lookin for more/cooler skins for the board so dont be surprised if youre continuatlly seeing changes, hopefully for the better but again: if you prefer one look to another, dont hesitate to say so. The only problem so far has been...while goin through the other skins & killin the retarded "Member since/Member no." lines under each post - its a few lines of coding in the skin itself - i cocked up the board's main skin, somehow. I dont know how, i backed it up like a good lil admin but even that didnt work. So, I imporovised, its hard to explain. Worked fine till last night..now odd things are showing up, like....the tabs you see in the music & announcemnt forums (they get that instead of goombas or weed leaves, i think its cause they have forums in themselves)...if you "mark all posts as read" or come back later with nothin new there, youll see naked coding there instead...its not that big a deal, but embrassing, and its my fault. Oh, and as of today, the bottom frontpage borders are losing their color...if you come here tomorrow and the board's all 0110001010101111100 then youll know who to bitch at. True, this was a topic in Current Events but only on the idea. For one - im not sure why everyone assumes once a writer/director/musician does their opus everythin else must be compared to it, but Bob might be right if that's Mel's intention here. Berserk...see, the Dreamcast game supposedly follows after the anime, and parts of that one's story look really cool, so im curious. Kee taped the entire (or most of) the series on VHS for me back in the day, but sadly the quality's no good, subtitles are kinda bouncy at too many points. It's a shame. Spiffy how are you watching it, VCD or downloads or wha? Also, talked to NewType recently, he said same guy as Escaflowne & some others is puttin out a new Macross series, like a prequel - Tim you heard of this? Over here: now that Kenshin's done, and Miyazaki's runnin low, ive downloaded the first episdoe of "Samurai: Deeper Kyo" and "Wolf's Rain", this new ongoing series by the same team as Cowboy Bebop - Lizi-chan mentioned it. Ill review tonite or tomorrow soon as i get to see em.

Agreed, havin the option of either is superior, but these are VHS ripped off the DVD...quality's fair, and the price is right. Sponge - if you want, just wait till you move to miami this summer, and if i still dont have the DVD's of it eventually, you can maybe borrow Jax's or someone's, watch em dubbed, im sure the voice acting isnt too bad.

Finally saw Seisouhen, the final arc in OAV's...wow. Covers a lot of bases. I wont spoil much, but its a 2-episode series, the first of which is a review of the high points of the Kenshin series basically...which is really cool 'cause you get to see some of its great moments done by the sharp animation crew of Samurai X: Trust & Betrayl, and those prequels are finally tied to the series. To those who've watched all (or most of) the series, i cant recommend it enough...its a great finale. Thing is, its not made for those who havent watched the sereis before, much less previous OAV's. For those interested, the DVD sees domestic release in a few days (March 25th), i intend to buy it later down the road. However, the fansubs are great quality - tho i think the translation is off in bits of the first episode - and can be downloaded from Kazaa or i can lend em to you in mpg format. Serioulsy, the series ended alright if you were able to see the unrelaesed final episode, but this one really ties things up. What a great series, prolly sitll my favorite.
