Aartemys
So happy about this...but then again, I am rarely unhappy with anything Pixar makes... It's going to be good

Reverend Jax
This trailer actually makes me want to see this. I don't know what this 'actually' talk is all about. There is a good chance Monsters University will be my favorite movie of the summer.
Keth
I never was a big fan of the first one. And the early trailer to this one made it seem very meh, that and I get much more excited when an original Pixar movie comes out instead of a sequel (yeah Brave was Brave, but it was at least new). That said, that new trailer makes this one look a lot better than what I originally thought, and even better than the first movie. I always thought the one Pixar movie that would benefit most from a sequel would be the Incredibles.
Reverend Jax
Firstly... I always thought the one Pixar movie that would benefit most from a sequel would be the Incredibles. Yeah, that's obvious. Everyone agrees with that. Brad Bird has said that he has a few ideas, but wouldn't do a sequel unless he has a solid movie to make, and Pixar is respecting him in that they are no moving forward without him, and in the meantime he's finding success as a live-action director (Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol was actually really good). Secondly I never was a big fan of the first one. And the early trailer to this one made it seem very meh, that and I get much more excited when an original Pixar movie comes out instead of a sequel (yeah Brave was Brave, but it was at least new). The only Pixar sequel up until now have been Cars 2 and the Toy Story sequels. Did you not like, or not see, the Toy Story sequels? Because TS2 was better than the first and TS3 is the best Pixar film to date.
Keth
The Toy Story sequels are fine films. We also have Finding Dory and Planes coming out soon too for sequels. The sequels aren't a bad thing, I'm just saying I like seeing Pixar doing new stuff, even if it is more a miss than a hit. Though I will say the last few years, for me, have been kind of a miss. Up was ok, I'm going to come out and just say I don't really like Wall-E and Rattatoullie just plain sucked. On the animation front, Dreamworks movies have actually been appealing to me a bit more, and that's probably cause they are more dumb fun than trying to make artsy quality flicks. Wreck It Ralph was the best Disney animated movie in years, and it wasn't even Pixar made. Damn, I did a complete 180 there. Maybe Pixar sequels are better than coming up with new stuff. Reverend Jax
So you really haven't outright, enthusiastically liked any Pixar film since The Incredibles. Cars, Ratatouille, WALL-E, Up, Toy Story 3, Cars 2, and Brave. And you also said you weren't a fan of Monsters, Inc.
Keth
Well The Incredibles is my favorite Pixar movie, and I really liked Toy Story 3. The ones that didn't wow me were Brave, Ratatouille, Wall-E, Up, and Monsters Inc. I haven't seen the Cars movies, and most sources I know aren't helping change my mind on that one. So you can say that I've really only thoroughly enjoyed half of what they've put out.

Reverend Jax
Does anybody hold a bug's life in high regard? Well he didn't fucking list it, did he? And yes, some people do. Fewer people than hold other Pixar movies in high regard, but some people do.
Reverend Jax
This trailer makes this movie look like a lot of fun. Also, it doesn't feel like any other Pixar movie from before. It feels like a college party movie to me.
Reverend Jax
The website for Monsters University is made to look like a real university website. I really recommend exploring it. You can even buy a four armed hoodie in the store. .
