Thelogan
I've got...a bunch. I aint typin' that shit out. I went through two Blockbuster store closings where I had pick of the litter and literally bought trashbags full of cheap DVD's, as axel can attest. Keth
Man.. as much as it sucked closing down, that was the best fucking part of that job.
Thelogan
The one down here was even better, since I was the manager. I special ordered ALL THE THINGS. Like, every movie I ever wanted. Then ended up buying nearly all of them for $3 each.
Iambaytor
I think any of the ones from the Bedford location you didn't end up getting yourself I ended up picking up. Six-String Samurai and a few others I don't remember, I'm just going to assume I Drink Your Blood was there because of you because I have no idea why else it would be. Mr. Hakujin
Man blurays are getting cheap. Amazon is my new video store... Preach it. I picked up quite a few BR from there in the past year for under $10. Also, between crazy-cheap Black Friday deals, the local Blockbuster closing sale, and Best Buy having some good sales (and doing $5 credit towards new BluRays when you trade in old DVDs) I've bulked up my BR collection quite a bit since I posted that list over a year ago. Although, I'm trying to calm down on the purchases by putting a $20 cap on any BR purchase. I haven't bought any DVDs aside from gifts for people. Here's my current BR list: 300 007: Quantum of Solace 13 Assassins Apocalypse Now [Full Disclosue] Apocalypto A-Team, The Avatar [Extended Cut] Band of Brothers Batman Begins Batman: Dark Knight, The Batman: Gotham Knight Battle Royale [Complete Collection] Blues Brothers Bullit Captain America Cowboys & Aliens Excalibur Fantasia/Fantasia 2000 Fantastic Mr. Fox, The Game of Thrones - S1 Gran Turino Green Lantern Hanna Harry Potter VI: The Half Blood Prince Harry Potter VII: Deathly Hallows pt.1 Harry Potter VII: Deathly Hallows pt.2 Hellboy II: The Golden Army How to Train Your Dragon I Love You, Man Inception Inception [Limited Ed.] Indiana Jones & The Crystal Skull Inglourious Basterds Iron Man 2 Kick-Ass Kung-Fu Panda 2 Live Free or Die Hard LOST S3 LOST S4 LOST S5 LOST S6 Mad Men - S3 Master & Commander Megamind Micmacs Mist, The Monsters vs Aliens Neverending Story, The Paris, JeT'aime Pasison of the Christ Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End Pirates of the Caribbean: Curse of the Black Pearl Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest Platoon Ponyo Princess Bride, The Pulp Fiction Rise of the Planet of the Apes, The Robin Hood, The Adventures of Robocop Samurai Champloo - Complete Series Scott Pilgrim vs The World Searchers, The Sherlock Holmes [2010] Silence of the Lambs Social Network, The Star Trek [2009] Star Wars Saga [Episodes 1-6] Super 8 Taken Terminator Salvation Thor Toy Story 2 Toy Story 3 TRON: Legacy True Grit True Grit [2010] UP Winter's Bone Wolverine, X-Men Origins WWII In HD X-Men X-Men 2 X-Men: First Class Zombieland

Little Nemo McFly
Nice collection, Newtype! I've got hundreds of DVDs and Blurays, I'd love to post a pic of my libraries - as soon as I get the courage to post pics. I just added Aladdin on Bluray today. Just watched it - it looks phenomenal. Like, amazing. I pretty much reenacted the whole movie in my living room. LOL! That movie took me back.
Little Nemo McFly
I freed up a bunch of space n' gave my dvds / blu rays a re-shufflin'. My stuff is organized by category n' year. Thought I'd share some sections 'cuz I'm what they call: a Dorkus-Malorkus. Nostalgic Toons section! This isn't my entire animated collection - just the 'older shows' stuff. (my god, these pics are dim - gotta work on that, sorry) Disney section! Sometimes they release their blu rays as a dvd combo and stick 'em in those large dvd cases (Snow White, Beauty n' Beast) w/ 'DVD' on the spine. I don't like that... Pixar! Comic Book section! (The Spidey flix are blu - the DVD cases are just so much better than those bare-bones blu cases.) My...Marvel section is full and I have 3 Marvel dvds that...don't fit. I - I really don't want to put them on a non-related shelf... I'm gonna post more - but I'm gonna do it in sections. I might finish covering my 'animated' section and then move on to horror n' fantasy next.
Little Nemo McFly
Still not all my animated stuff - this is more 'older animated / fx feature' stuff. Some of my blurays are kept in their older DVD-counterpart cases - Space Jam and Nightmare Before Christmas have great DVD cases. Jim Henson / Muppets section! Tim Burton section! And some stop-motion stuff... Some High-Fantasy / Adventure stuff...section! 'Action' - 'Sci-fi' - 'Horror' - comin' up!

Little Nemo McFly
Whoa - never got around to finish posting...'action, sci-fi, horror'...wow, a year ago. (squints) a lot of those pics are 'broken', too...hmmm...pretty sure these were amongst the first pics I've ever posted on Hondos...(such a neeewb) On the 'Shows Us Your Goods' thread - a relevant side-bar came up and thought could be expanded on here... I've basically been re-buying my DVD collection on blu for years now, just really got to the point where I had a massive stockpile of DVD dupes. I used to routinely just swap the DVD for blu on the shelf, when I 'upgrade' - and just stuck the DVD dupe in a box, which then became boxes...which then, became boxes I'd find myself staring at - w/ sadness, as they quietly took up space - and after years of mulling over - made the impossibly difficult decision to let the obsolete 'dupe' collection go (w/ a couple of select exceptions). They all went to Goodwill. You'd be lucky to get 50 cents selling a used DVD today... Now, when I 'upgrade' a flick - I pull the DVD, set it aside by the front door and just Goodwill it...after stripping the DVD of the lil' booklet n' art inserts (which sadly, you don't see anymore). Do any other collectors in here have sum sort of DVD dupe system? Do you keep your ol' DVD version of new blu purchases? I still have a few VHSs I couldn't part w/ - but for the most part, I'm keeping my movie collection centralized to one format...blu ray. That will be it for me - I re-bought my VHS, re-buying my DVD...LOL - not re-buying for 4K.
