Thats where it came from, yup. I watched bootleg copies of the first 2 episodes as the show was airing in Japan and fell in love. It started coming out here on VHS with a whopping 2 episodes per tape. Then the DVD came out which had 5 episodes!! I bought it without actually owning a DVD player. This was actually the reason I was excited for the PS2, so I'd have something to watch it on!! LOL!!

That is true. By March, we'll have a Mad Max-esque gritty near future movie in Logan, a yakuza noir/western in The Wolverine, and whatever the fuck X-Men Origins: Wolverine was.

YESSSSSS! I've been waiting to see the trailer for this! It's the latest by Nacho Vigalondo, the writer and director of Timecrimes, one of the best time travel movies of all time! If you haven't seen it, it is an absolutely flawless representation of Novikov (or fixed timeline) time travel. He also did a segment in ABS's of Death and a GREAT segment in the 3rd VHS movie. Ever since I heard his next movie was about a girl that creates a kaiju that attacks Seoul when she gets drunk, I've been waiting with bated breath.

This has been discussed in interviews and articles, but I'm spoiler tagging just in case...

Stock went up at BestBuy.com and sold out in about 4 minutes. By the grace of god, I was somehow able to get an order in that window, from my phone, while in the can at work! Squeee!

I don't know, two good/one awful is pretty much the superhero trilogy standard at this point.

Friend of mine invited me to a free screener of Split on Wednesday. My opinion of a film has never changed so drastically, so suddenly in the middle of a viewing. Don't read ANYTHING about this movie. Go see it blind if you can, please I implore you. It's a little clunky at times, and while watching it I wasn't sure if I liked where I saw it going....but damn. Okay, that's all I'm going to say.

I never really thought of Mario as originating parkour in videogames, but puttting Mario in an urban enviroment with his Mario 64 moveset and thats exactly what he did!!

I switched (heh) my preorder from neon to black BECAUSE my mild OCD is going to want to complete the set of each color if I get the neon (getting a Left in red and a right in blue) and the joycons cant be purchased individually. $80 gets you a complete set of blue or red (and/or whtever other colors they eventually release). So yea... Although, part of me is thinking I should hold out for the Switch XL....

Awesome. I'll take Logan 2 and 3 right now thank you. I so stoked for March! I hope Logan is as great as the trailer made it out to be, and I hope it makes a killing at the box office. I put Hugh Jackman's Wolverine on par with RDJ/Tony Stark as actors that have so embodied a character that you simply cannot recast without a complete ground up reboot. Literally the ONLY reason I would want to see FOX and Marvel come to a similar Sony/Spider-man deal is to see Jackman's Wolverine in the MCU. Plus, as much lip service as they paid Jackman in Deadpool, he HAS to at least make a cameo in one of the sequels, if not a full on Deadpool/Wolverine pic.

Trailer was the epitome of 'meh' for me and now I'm even more bummed out that 'Prometheus 2' ended up becoming 'Generic Alien Sequel X'. I was definitely not a fan of Prometheus for a multitude of reasons, but it's loose ties to the Alien franchise were not one of my issues. I hated the post credits stinger and would have preferred if they just kept it a separate series in the same universe. Despite my distaste for Prometheus, I was actually looking forward to the adventures of original girl with the dragon tattoo and Michael Fassbender's head in space, and I can't hide the fact that I am sad that that's not what we are getting...

It was all part of a Kickstarter called 'You are Now Earthbound' from a couple of years ago. Yea, I got the email from both. Got my Luke Cage LP yesterday, but my YANEB stuff doesn't come in until the 27th WHAT?? Man, I hope you're right! What backer tier where you? Was it listed on your email from Fangamer?? Double checked and it wasn't on mine. Maybe they are throwing it in as a surprise? (Hopes desperately)

Ordered this forever ago. Came in the mail today. It's like a giant, super detailed version of the original playmates figures. I'll take some better pics later. Also note the articulated turtle penis!

I liked the ambiguity of the original, but I get the feeling from the trailer that this film is going to follow the 'Deckard is Replicant' theory.
