  1. ohdeargod! i feel ashamed that i can relate, but proud i never actually succumbed tot he temptation to buy him. actually i think Blink was the only one outta that series i ever bought/kept. and the thomas the train voltron=awesome!
  2. i agree w/ nick's gif. however, i don't see how i'm any more hyperbolic than he is. after reading this post i'm pretty much finished taking anything baytor has to say about films seriously. maybe wedding plans has his mind all fucked up or something, but even considering ranking Spidey 3 above Batman Begins is just too much crazy talk for me to handle. if i want to hear stupid people say stupid things i'll watch Jersey Shore. at least there are halfway decent chicks in bikinis there.
  3. Here's Coco last show. Itw as pretty good. Steve Carrell came out and did a funny bit. The monologue was on fiyah as well. Too bad he couldn't pull this kinda spectacle off before all the drama. I'm sure he'll be back in some way. I hope so...
  4. Season 3 won the Golden Globe for best Dramatic TV Series. But *bad pun alert* these were the only "golden globes" I was concerned about:

  6. Chick misses first question on Millionaire.
  7. Sweet fancy Moses! It's like I was right there at JZA's Sweet 16 party.
  8. I can't tell you the amount of fanboy goo that would be splooged on TV screens all across this great nation of ours if Fall 2010 saw both Walking Dead & Powers on...
  9. That was pure fucking gold! Oh, it would be so awesome if Conan just played that clip as his last minutes as host of the Tonight Show.
  10. Who doesn't believe Jesus is coming back to lay waste to the sinners? Trufax. Especially the part about Leno being a dick. He's also unoriginal and unfunny. Just to make sure I'm clear on that philosophical difference from Acalis.
  11. I love the MacGruber sketches. The one w/ Shia LeDouche was especially funny.
  12. Hmm, I'm not totally sure if I agree the first Spidey film was better than X-Men. It's been a while since I re-watched Spidey. Although, it's Not that hard to be a better film than X-Men. X3 did it. The first film was good, but highly overrated in the pages of fanboy nostalgia. A lot of self-loathing there. Weren't you a teenager until a few weeks ago? I agree there's not a whole lot interesting about teenagers, but a teenager who is an orphan, social misfit, scientific genius, and a superhero? Now that could be interesting. Gee, there seems like so many opportunities for drama, suspense, and conflict in such a scenario. I wish they'd make a comic about such a guy. I bet it would be popular. Oh, wait... they already fucking did. See above, you cantankerous old fart. Just b/c the film has a high-school setting doesn't mean it will be all 90210 Gossip Creek bullshit. Way to go baytorh8r5000 on us and downplay the film before you even see a trailer or let alone let a script be finalized. Sassy Cat: out!
  13. Nick is Johnny on the spot w/ that user title change. Noice! Letterman is really letting Leno have it now. Check this out:
  14. This song has been stuck in my head all day. I know. I know. It's a guilty pleasure and it gives NZA and others a reason to post this pic as a reply, but fuck the h8z. I'm not street but I do what I gotta do. . .

  16. I call bullshit on your link, Jax. No one else is reporting this. Looks like it's still just speculation at this point that he's signed to play Parker. However, Marc Webb has officially signed on as director for Spidey4. His film (500) Days of Summer was a great film and creatively blended humor and drama about a guy down on his luck over a girl--sound familiar? Now we have to wait and see if he can successfully add in action to the mix. am i "sassy cat" in this scenario? i'm not sure if i like where this is going... anyway, i'd prefer an unknown for new-parker. i sure as shit woudln't put glittery vampire boy anywhere on my dream spidey casting list though.
  17. gunsmithx: i agree, cameron has proven the technology is now there for an epic BAA film. i can't wait to see what he uses this technology for w/ a truly great storyline like BAA (which i'm now realizing is probably where he got the idea for floating mountains) and hope he doesn't put it off. however, it's looking like avatar 2 and 3 are what he'll be up to next. ;_; I love how you didn't even wait for a separate post to flip-flop like that and did it all in one post. ;) I feel kind of the way about District 9 the way you did about AVatar--I kept hearing all this hype about D9 and it really didn't live up to it for me. I just caught it on sale on DVD and will re-watch it soon, so it may change my mind once I see it a 2nd time around. Although I'm really thinking Avatar won't hold up for me outside of the 3D experience though.
  18. so their idiotic casting suggestions excuses your own somehow? c'mon now...
  19. b/c when i think high school freshman i think zach braff. ftw, custer?
  20. If Akon & T-Pain adopted two white boys:
  21. I disagree. Maybe in another year you'd have a better argument, but movies are all about going to the theater and despite it's weak/cliched plot points Avatar was about a good a moviegoing experience as you were gonna get in 2009. Maybe you could say certain films nudged it out w/ acting, plot, cinematography. or some combination of the three but nothing TOTALLY blew it out of the water. Originally I think that was his plan, but in the recent press interviews he's been doing he's talking sequel to Avatar and has not made one mention of BAA sadly.
