  1. Nick touches on it above, I'm addressing his prowess which you might recall plays significantly into characterisation and later events. Having read that Ennis interview and further comments I'm just not satisfied that the showrunners get it the way everybody claims.
  2. Old habits. I'm terribly sorry.
  3. Yep. I like faithful adaptions. Could there be a pattern? Quit being a fuckboy and enter a dialogue instead of dismissing- forgot where I was for a moment. As you were, Panch, rest of cunts.
  4. Didn't dPREACHERig it. Spent a good amount of time prior managing expectations and recent Marvel Cinematic effPREACHERorts have helped lower the bar significantly. I'm so glad that they cleaPREACHERred up the confusion. Y'see he's a preaPREACHERcher by vocation AND his self-applied nickname!. Clumsy shit like hearing the title of the fucking show every two minutes is on the nose. The voice is worse than Bale's Batman, and John Custer looks like a fuckin' nerd. Joe Gilgun is charismatic as fuck even if Cassidy is suddenly Jason Bourne with an aversion to sunlight. His ability to fight is something that may become relevant guys. Tu works,Saint was good to see. Turning Hugo Root or his son into anything more than a punchline is a mistake but the Sylvester the cat voice is oddly charming. Just assessing this as a 'Supernatural drama', it still brings nothing that new to the fore, and kinda punched a counter-culture icon in the shit in the process. Now excuse me while I read why the guy who created the Sex Detectives is okay with the adaption.
  5. So point established that I will generally defend terrible comic movies, but have nothing to offer in advocacy of this film. Now you file your accusations of insincerity right up your ethereally pale anus and say...
  6. I've made numerous and repeated cases pro Spiderman 3 over the years and the fact that you're not across that is your shortcoming, not mine. Way to run a fucking messageboard, dickhead.
  7. ^Bout as tired a response as Fox's continued attempts to monetize this franchise.
  8. I like to think I've cultivated a reputation as someone who'll defend most comic movies to the bitter end. Daredevil hasn't aged well but Spiderman 3 was still as good as the fanboys deserved. This, was not good. Seeing a guy I kinda know personally was a hoot, and that's the end of the list of things to like. The whole thing played out like it was made for TV.
  9. As far as comedy troupes go, The Dead Alewives are responsible for a lot of my favourite, otherwise unconnected comedic bits.
  10. I'd be interested in having a go, the problem is that I know nothing about the sport and Madden doesn't seem to want to make the issue any clearer so, if someone can link me a 'dummy's guide to gridiron and then drafting for a fantasy league/ panch's preferred ruleset' I'll do the homework and be ready for season start. When is season start?
  11. See, I heard this sound and wondered what it was. This thread confirms it was Baytor's SPLOOSH @ a possible Netflix Thunderbolts series.
  12. Did you see the Doomstar Requiem?
  13. Man. Respect for playing the odds anf having it pay off. It's a damned pretty figure!
  14. Being a p-plate fan of Adventure Time and only aware enough of Twin Peaks to know it's made by someone I avoid, I can't tell if this is the best or worst pitch for television, ever. I am at least intrigued.
  15. The first and only time I've seen that figure retail was in the Vita starter bundle, which I considered purchasing just for said figure. Finding it standalone retail or even at a markup from amazon would be preferable though. Secondly, how long has hotlinking text been utterly rooted? Below is the link to vote for the next 3.0 figure. Darkwing should be the only relevant vote. http://blogs.disney.com/oh-my-disney/2015/07/23/you-get-to-choose-the-next-disney-infinity-character/
  16. Ku-dos to Little Nemo for reading all 106 issues. I don't think even I could have made that slog. Having just read the new Battleworld CW Book with no expectation, I was pleasantly surprised by the way they gave the event legs. The framework is a bog-standard whodunnit with no sense of subtlety when it comes to imagery, what I'm liking is seeing how, some few decades on how things shaped up with two polarizing ideologies living next to eachother.
  17. I haven't had a chance to watch it yet as I'm working. I thought it might be too soon, apologies for the bum steer. Edit- You'd think I'd have learned after sitting through a Suicide Squad trailer that I found out after the fact was mostly cobbled together from bits of Focus and Arrow.
  18. I'm positive you mean seven star treatment! ;) I would go apeshit for Roger Rabbit & Darkwing figures.
  19. Yeah they're all copying the Skylander model, and as I said previously the scale matches Nintendo's Amiibo so all I'm asking for is a similar set up. As far as gameplay goes I completed the Avengers mission pack but depsite owning the Guardians and Ultimate Spidey tokens have yet to bother. Initially I was infact roadtesting this as something I could play with Tilly down the track and am now just all about the figures.
  20. Tangent: The Infinity sandbox/toychest/mission structure & affiliated toy line would be the perfect platform for the Dragonball U am i right? I would tank unspeakable amounts of cash into something like that.
  21. Yeah I bought the starter set 'for my kid' but have since quit pretending and have everything Marvel/2.0 barring a few Guardians and I think Falcon. Beautifully cast figures and the same scale as Amiibo which is handy, not that I have an amiibo problem or anything. Star Wars will be a grand expansion but I'll be disappointed if they quit on marvel figures this soon.
  22. Bravo to the lad for not copping out with Audiotune like he has since he took up singing.
  23. Somewhere in the world is a pile of fat and discarded beard hair, making new and original movies instead of leveraging off the fame of his old, good stuff.
