  1. Quite accessible like the first, I look forward to seeing feedback from loyalists to the source material though. I'm not going to bother discussing spoilers because you guys have proven that you can't be saved even from yourselves. Well maybe this massive nugget>seriously, only click if you've seen the movie or have no interest in taking the ride as JJ Abrams prescribed
  2. Re Haku's Spidey spoilers-ish? The Osborn stuff was only done in the last five years, and One More Day will gain a lot more credibility as an event if only it undoes unnecessary bullshit like that.
  3. Wright's said as well that Ant Man is going to be a different genre of movie to the established Marvel mythos. This should really(and I'm comfortable not spoiling this but go ahead and edit if others feel appropriate) carry the same tagline. Maybe that's what Phase 2 is going to be about: Redefining the Superhero movie genre the way it has in a lot of cases with the books. And don't forget that some solo flicks like the other big Avengers are going to still be more spectacular.
  4. Possibly what you guys are talking about
  5. No doubt. But I can dream! I'm just pissed that I bought a Razr Onza and the fucking thumbsticks just melt off within a month or two.
  6. Fuck that. It still brought some stuff to the table in terms of mechanics, and it was immersive as hell right down to the saturated filter. Baytor's right that it wasn't a big game, but it more than made up for it with atmosphere. Completely legitimate bridge between Liberty City & San Andreas. You Miami locals are just going to have to cause some shit to give R* a hook/cultural thing to theme the next game around. Maybe a new Cuban Missile Crisis?
  7. Something I'd love to see in the next gen though it's probably too late now is easily breakaway controller casings allowing for easy swapouts of analogue sticks and maybe buttons/triggers and at the very least d-pad. I envisage some kind of pared down hardware with the casing breaking away in maybe 2-4 pieces. They'd probably make more selling limited edition casings, custom themed sticks & triggers than they do already selling complete controllers.
  8. Re your last spoiler Axel I think the best thing about this movie is(and correct me if I'm wrong) it really paves the way for a new kind of superhero movie or expanding the genre at least.
  9. True Blood has it beat on all counts with next to zero content piecing it all together. There's still a lot of money to be lost in telling most of your country their imaginary diety is the equivalent of a four year old with ants and a magnifying glass. Whatever comes of this, I figure they'll have a traumatised Texan minister find an artifact(alien/Celtic/Mormon) and charge himself with hunting an abstract concept or some form of 'Earthly representative' which would still allow the supporting cast to still be worked in, all for some slight something along the lines of 'killed his family','raped and murdered his wife' or 'vapourised his entire parish whom he had a complicated but enriching relationship with'. Mind that this isn't what I want, this is just the arc my expectations take after years of pulled punches in the retelling of stories to tv/movies.
  10. Was one eye on a busty nerd chick three rows over the entire time? We don't have a control/zero point to calibrate anymore.
  11. It makes me tingly in my nethers to tell you guys I traded my Saturn for a Halo-themed 360 and all the terrible games I made the mistake of amassing for this possibly misunderstood but largely average system. Sexy Hats brought his Saturn to my house just once. I'm sure he still has it, it just never comes up in discussion around Adam & I anymore.
  12. Not a spectacular list. The plan was to hit a couple stores this year too. Ah well, they still do decent sales and I think one of them is hosting a few local artists.
  13. My guess is ironic phrasing, but I wouldn't call Tywin a 'bad dude'. Nor a 'rad dad'. Just a very judicious leader factoring what's best for his family without taking into account what might be best for his family. Gonna feel for the guy when he sees Jaime again.
  14. Let me be clear regarding post credit(if you guys are reading spoilers):
  15. I wouldn't call it a curse. This movie just really paved the way for a new kind of Marvel Superhero movie. Wright's Ant Man would fit side by side with Black's Iron Man.
  16. I simply pointed out that your offence was completely unjustified and went on to nail the fact that you used pre-loaded script made invalid by my followup remark. That's how Joel communicates. I do like the word indignacity though and may just call a cat that one day. Watchmen(book) is obvious, a few of you have griped about Hush previously too. I dug that for the same reason other people like action movies though.
  17. Well i clearly acknowledged in the next unquoted phrase that i might have missed some ethereal highbrow point to the flick, but I guess you'd already put together your indignant little piece and god forbid we miss any beautiful words you put together in response to figmentary accusation. It was a harmless goddamned jab. I wasn't making a serious character assessment. that's what italics are for.
  18. He's not dead, he's frozen. ANd when they find a cure for.... Goddamnit, That's really disappointing.
  19. Rating Hedwig & the Angry Inch explains so much about you. You bear the Baytor seed of liking eclectic shit for the fact that it's eclectic. That movie was a waste of my precious goddamned wanking time. Maybe I missed the point, I dunno.
  20. Yeah Axels knows whats up. His admitting to not finishing the film can be interpretted in many ways I'm sure. But yeah Jamie Foxx looks weird in blueface
  21. He's right though. Bring Rodney Dangerfield out of retirement to play Bastion, or William Stryker and they could retell classic Xmen arcs as 80's shenanigans movies invariably ending in a party at the xmansion. Thne overlap is pretty seamless, especially when you see them all wearing hawiian shirts instead of excessive pouches.
  22. Bottom right, that is Nick the dryer. Man gets reincarnated as a machine, he's gonna pair up with a Korean toaster.
  23. Alright so I guess you readahs have a different perspective on Theon. I see him as a guy in a shitty situation forced to choose between duty and loyalty and dealt with it as best he could.
