  1. The first queue for me was Storytellers, from 2009(off the back of 808's?). Watching the guy trying so damned hard to articulate feelings and convey emotion, he's not great with eye contact, there's a clear disconnect between what he says and how it's interpreted, which then leads into angry and very public outbursts, he's a natural savant at anything he sets to learning(coding, production, fashion), he carries the chassis of someone who is both desperate to make a meaningful change in the world but is simultaneously frustrated by continued resistance to his ideas and message. He's an analytical thinker but not great at communicating. The key to better understanding what he means when he says something like 'I am a god' is in his music, a forum in which he used to at least be able to articulate himself comfortably and competently. Marrying up broad and off-putting statements with ideologies expressed in his flow. Frankly he's been steadily moving off the rails since his mum died and unless he can find someone to fill that mentor/safety role we're never gonna see good, classic Kanye again. Mending fences with Dash was a good start IMO. Re the original pitched question; Yeah Kanye's Conscious, it's just in an a barely-scrutable, very self-aware way.
  2. Pure 90's throwback. You're gonna love it.
  3. Mannnnnnnnn. That looks like utter dogshit but Nick's point re Superior Spidey is valid. Anything that spins out of Renew your Vows is a winner to me though. That book is fantastic.
  4. Few things I wish to bring to everyone's attention. 1) I wish I'd been a fan when this discussion was happening. 2) I'd give at least one of my incisors to see Kanye give the full Bohemian Rasphody a red hot go. 3) Kanye west is Autistic as fuck. I am convinced of this and will show my work if anyone wishes to engage me on this. 4) In light of the above, Sydney Dean said it best: Y'all listening to Kanye, but y'can't hear Kanye
  5. Yeah this is going to be me through Q's 3 & 4 during trips to EB to pick up Fallout 4 & the Rare Collection. Baby and study need their due, work can go suck a dick.
  6. That video made my yesterday and requires alllllll the upvotes.
  7. Oh Come on! Snyder could straight bite whole episodes of Murder She Wrote and repurpose the dialogue and who could tell?
  8. Right on. Eammon acts like it all starts with X-Men United and Spiderman 2. Ach. The grim time when Spawn was a legit entry.
  9. Really? I thought it was one of Smith's finest efforts since Chasing Amy. Red State was great too.
  10. Yeah, Millar's Marvel trilogy made up of OML, 1985 and a really, really mediocre Fantastic Four run all fed into eachother.
  11. Being that OML was completely stand-alone and made no reference to physical or ethereal barriers to other worlds, it's fantastic, by comparison It's tethered to other Mark Millar stuff that is still being ignored too, apparently.
  12. So much negativity! Just because Giant Guy doesn't meet your unrealistic body standards and I have the audacity to campaign for his rights!
  13. I like the show as it breathes new life into a very fatigued genre, haven't passed ep 5 yet though.

    Fallout 4

I have both consoles but PS4's my preferred hand this gen. Problem is Bethesda love giving timed exclusivity to Xbox for DLC.
  15. In fairness Totems & Morlun became all relevant again with Spiderverse. Additionally, Doom was a bit more of accessible as a character when he was hanging out in the stomach of a pre-historic shark.
  16. Zombies are boring AF even in Westeros. I wanna see more giant guy!
  17. Any mention of God-king Doom is too many. Likewise, reference was made to . While Millar's Marvel trilogy(OML/FF/1984) was a hot mess, I'll be interested to see how Postcode OML will eventually link up to a five hundred year old Susan Storm sending a dying planet earth(not Battleworld)'s population back in time and onto a parallel synthetic Earth created by Microsoft.
  18. Oh my lawd, this movie gave me more energy than a kid up past midnight with a bottle of Fanta. I loved this movie so hard and I'm so damned sad that there isn't already a model or toy line to go with it because I would throw bulk cash at it unreservedly. My favourite things were set & vehicle design, stunts and the very broad characterisation and story flow. What set this apart IMO was the bittersweet twist . That Furiosa moment took this movie from broadly entertaining to legitimately engaging. PS-Re; all the shit Hardy's copping for his awful Aussie accent, he's more capable than most of you septics but to my ear he spent too much time listening to Mel Gibson.
  19. A something search offers #44 as the answer to your question. And to be honest I don't see the appeal in housekeeping anyway. I mean it's not like the multiverse is cluttered or confusing itrying again In a less crazy world marvel would have kept variant timelines like 1616 for fun experimentation instead of creating alternate canon which DOES make things confusing. Instead my take on what I've read so far is that Battleworld will be modelled on a multi-dimensional Westeros. Baytor made the valid point re creative accessibility- or putting all the toys in one sandbox to facilitate crossovers, but for my money I like my crossovers to start with wormholes and confusion rather than (assumedly) stop me if you do or don't understand my point here. Creating a beauracracy in the Marvel Universe is kind of a shitty idea, being said I'm keen to check out more Old Man Logan.
  20. god I hope not For anyone as lost as me, having not been the most diligent reader over the last couple of years I found a site which offered a 'primer' which included the last couple of issues of the original secret war, an issue of Hickman's FF run, a couple of New Avengers issues and some Ultimates/Ultimate Spiderman stuff. check out wherever piratesbay holds domain now. Hated what I've read in the core book so far but that's mostly because I'm resistant to change.
  21. If it went to pot after two seasons it's identical to Heroes then. British Superheroes never got any better than No Heroics IMO, but let's see how this goes.
  22. The inclusion of Shaun Micallef speaks well of this and I intend to check it out.
  23. Did a great job of building suspense only to fritter it away on shitty effects and too much 'show'. Terrible flick.
