  4. I am a huge In Living Color fan. I actually show sketches to my students when I am teaching them about parody, satire, and comedy in general so they can make their own vocabulary skits funny. I hope this is done right and doesn't end up like Little Man.
  5. He actually does look rather dashing there. +1 fo sho
  6. Good post in 2012 predictions. I thought it was a very nice explanation of Texas. Did you see the Thank You Teaparty video I posted?

  7. "The Jizzer," that was quality writing my friend.
  8. I have to agree that the Doors is great choice. I also like the Grateful Dead.
  9. Good to hear that you are still doing this. I will be curious to hear how things turn out come next month.

I think Panch and one of his trolls minus oned you in the no more Nick thread . . . I haven't spoken with you, but I like your posts.

  11. I just +1 for the JZA's cracked out drawing. I think my laughter nearly woke up the wife.
  12. That picture actually looks like Paul Stanley! Finally we have a winner.
  13. I like Logan's crazy pictures better. Here is mine:
  14. I'm sure that the routine is difficult and you will get results if you are consistent. Plus, working out with a group of people is great for motivation.
  15. My wife was reading the New Times last night when she asked me what a table shower was. In the ad she read for an asian massage parlor, it said that after a paid sixty minute massage, the customer would receive a FREE table shower. I wasn't completely sure, so I looked it up. According to the Urban Dictionary a table shower is: How can this be legal? Can they really justify it by saying the rub costs you money, but the tug is free? Anyone here ever pay for a massage and get a happy-ending? Anyone ever frequent an asian massage parlor?
  16. I found the graph where they compare their system to interval training to be extremely amusing. In interval training you sprint as fast as you can for about 30 seconds to a minute and then you go at a more moderate pace. In there graph, they claim that in their special workout, you sprint for 19 minutes (impossible), rest for one minute, and then do this two more times for a total of one hour . . . It made me laugh a little.
  17. These days I try to stay away from things titled "Insanity _________" and "Extreme ____________." While having that cut look appeals to my vanity, I don't think my cardiologist would want me doing a program like this. Right now I am walking 3-6 miles a day at an incline and doing push-ups. If the diet is anything like P90X, it is meant to give short term gains, but does not factor in long term health. Basically it is a low carb, high animal protein diet that will increase your risk of heart disease, cancer, and Alzheimer's (which is somewhat ironic since Tony Horton says to stay away from most animal sources of protein [their was an interview with the NYTimes he did recently]). I am reading a book titled Healthy at 100: How You Can - At Any Age - Dramatically Increase Your Life Span And Your Health Span, which takes a look at the healthiest and longest lived societies on the planet and also all of the best research on aging. One of the studies it mentions in the book was titled Alzheimer's, CJD & BSE - Losing Your Mind for a Burger and when I was sent a picture of my grandfather who has Alzheimer's eating a burger last week, it was a fairly depressing moment. Anyways, thats the end of my rant on Western diets and P90X.

Thanks for sticking up to Arch's right-wing propaganda. I personally don't have the energy for it.

  19. Where are those salty McManballs when we need them?
