The NZA
thanks man. Guru's style hasnt aged well in some of his works, but that's a classic, and DJ Premier embodies that NY jazz/soulful sound that made me fall for hip-hop as a kid, and i still get happy as hell hearing it. music roulette sounds like a good idea, ive always threatened to release a Quality Hip Hop 101 mixdisc for hondo's based on tracks with that sound that i dont think get circulation these days, so too many think all the genre can/will do is on the radio, which is a shame. one day, i get too indecisive when i try to set up a playlist, heh. maybe itll redeem me after the preacher OST, haha and yeah, ray-ray, MOAR. Mr. Hakujin
Don't overthink that shiz, nickoli. Just UL some righteous tracks, ya dig! I was the last one to UL for roulette and that was back in September 2009!

Genroh
Rhinestone Eyes by The Gorillaz (yeah I know I just now got a chance to listen to the Plastic Beach album. Love it!) I'm a scary gargoyle on a tower That you made with plastic power Your rhinestone eyes are like factories far away When the paralytic dreams that we all seem to keep Drive on engines till they weep With future pixels in factories far away So call the mainland from the beach Your heart is now washed up in bleach The waves are rising for this time of year And nobody knows what to do with the heat Under sunshine pylons we'll meet while rain is falling like Rhinestones from the sky I got a feeling now my heart is frozen All the phoses and growsin Happy and after native in my soul I prayed on the unmovable Yeah clinging to the adam's of rock Seasons seas just smooth Signs are change I cant see now she said taxi I that light is so I can take Storm bring strange loyalties I'm a scary gargoyle on a tower That you made with plastic power Your rhinestone eyes are like factories far away (Here we go again) (That's electric) Helicopters fly over the beach Same time everyday same routine Clear target in the summer when skies are blue Its part of the noise when winter comes It reverberates in my lungs Natures' corrupted in factories far away Your loves' like rhinestones, falling from the sky With future pixels in factories far away Your loves' like rhinestones, falling from the sky With future pixels in factories far away Edited April 3, 2010 by Genroh

the division of joy
not sure what i just saw, but i liked it.cant get "one track lover" out of my head now from the darkplace thread. Its a bit of genius and social commentary all in one. It makes me wonder why more music can't be like that. But yeah, one of my favorite groups at the moment, I'd strongly encourage checking them out rather than giving the new gorillaz album a listen.
