Maldron
Nice, it definitely has the look of a home-made costume.... but then again, wasn't his costume a mail-ordered scuba suit, or some shit? It's been a while since I read it. It's looking okay so far, I'm definitely looking forward to see how badly they'll beat him up in the movie. Ron Hightower
A film adaptation was reportedly in the script stage in May 2008.[8] The Hollywood Reporter said production would be fully financed by Matthew Vaughn's MARV Films, the script written by Vaughn and Jane Goldman, and the movie directed by Vaughn.[9] The industry trade magazine gave the financed amount as $30 million,[9] while Millar updated the figure to $65 million.[10] Aaron Johnson has been cast as the main character Dave Lizewski.[11] Nicolas Cage will play a former cop who, in his quest to bring down an evil druglord played by Mark Strong, has trained his 11-year-old daughter to be the ruthless vigilante Hit Girl,[12] being played by Chloë Moretz.[9] Lyndsy Fonseca has been cast Lizewski's crush, Katie Deauxma.[12] Christopher Mintz-Plasse has been cast as Red Mist.[12] Series creator Millar, a native of Scotland, has asked Scottish TV children's-show host Glen Michael to make a cameo appearance.[13] Wrestler Big Daddy V said he has a part in the movie. The NZA
alright, it looks cool so far and im pleased to see Millarworld get its cinematic wishes again, but...anyone else bothered that we're seeing shit on this when the book's not even done yet? Reverend Jax
...anyone else bothered that we're seeing shit on this when the book's not even done yet? Is it supposed to be a limited series? Cause it doesn't say that on the wiki page. I mean, Spider-Man and X-Men are done yet and they got movies.

Reverend Jax
Hey, this is less than 3 months away, and still no trailer. Weird how they went with the character names along the top (Damon Macready is Big Daddy) Instead of actor names (Nicholas Cage is Big Daddy). In movie theater hallways, people'll think the movie has no-name actors. Edited November 8, 2009 by Reverend Jax

The NZA
i really dont know...brown's not bad but i cant remember the last time i saw the guy. is kris kristofferson still around?
Iambaytor
He's been mainly doing voice-over work as of late (Lex Luthor and Mr. Krabbs being his two main roles) but I urge you to check out The Burrowers, Pathfinder (strictly for his performance, the rest of the movie is shit), and Carnivale. Kris Kristofferson should play Hawkeye.
Reverend Jax
Clancy Brown also played a villain in the second season of Avatar. i got a better one for you: THE FUCKING COMICS NOT EVEN DONE YET. Last time I checked, Batman, Spider-Man, X-Men and Iron Man comics aren't done yet either, but they got movies. You don't have a leg to stand on. Reverend Jax
Right, but if they make a movie, they don't need to complete the story arc.
Iambaytor
Right, but if they make a movie, they don't need to complete the story arc. Well considering it's about 8 issues long they kinda do.
Reverend Jax
Where The Wild Things Are is only 339 words long, and they made that into a 101 minute movie. Either way, according to Marvel.com, the final issues comes out on Dec 9th of this year, so the movie will come out after that. So what's the problem? But you'll note that the book was finished long before the movie was made, if they'd just got to page 3 and all we knew was that Max got sent to his room wouldn't you be understandably questioning the director's sanity or dedication to making a faithful adaptation. Also keep in mind that Kick-Ass finished filming before this series was even half over. And while it's possible they had Millar's outline, a lot changes between outline and page. That's the problem.
