So I heard someone point out that the crazy DRM rules, which are going to bring a lot more money to the publishers, may result in crazy Steam-like game blowouts. It seems overly optimistic to assume these money hungry assholes are gonna pass the savings onto the consumer, but after they take a sound thrashing in sales they may not have much of a choice. Keeping my eye on this. Very curious how it plays out. Speaking of money hungry, did I read that Killer Instinct blurb right? It comes with ONE character, and every single other one is a micro transaction? That would have been a bad joke a couple of years ago. People don't seemed outraged enough for my liking.
