  1. "Go in that bag and find my phaser, it's the one that says Bad Mother Fucker"... um... no.
  2. If there's one thing you should have learned by now is that in this universe, ain't nobody respectin' nothing.
  3. just wait for eps 3 and 4. They are the ones that hook you

    Coco

I believe that, Disney sabotaging Pixar. Even though Disney bought them I can see them driving the studio into the ground before dissolving it and merging the steaming remains into their own animation studio.
  5. The jokes were fine, just the inappropriate timing of them, which was probably part of the joke, was cringe worthy and killed the tone of the scene for me... and in general I find too much Malloy a little obnoxious for my taste; he's awesome in small doses, but have the camera linger on him and his humor gets old fast.
  6. It's the one show my wife and I watch together; I'm usually on the computer and she's usually on the couch in front of me watching he damn food network shows, but for this we make time. So far only one episode (Krill) has been cringe worthy in the beginning (the Krill god is named Avis and Malloy just keeps making way too many car rental jokes at inappropriate times that just kills the mood of the scenes) but it had a strong conclusion and the ending scene was rock solid. We've only missed one episode titled Majority Rule due to... fucked if I remember, but if it's anything like the rest of the show, it should be either awesome or rock-solid.
  7. The Punisher needs to kill more white supremacists in general.
  8. Just some general obituary notices: John Hillerman passed Nov. 9th at age 84. He played Higgins in Magnum P.I. and Howard Johnson, owner of the ice cream parlor with 1 flavor, in Blazing Saddles. Earle Hyman passed Nov. 17th at age 91. He played Bill Cosby's character's dad in the Bill Cosby Show in the late 80s and early 90s as well as was the voice actor for Panthro in the 80s Thundercats cartoon.
  9. That Coco thing isn't getting much good advertising, just generic tv spots. At this point people up here are just calling it a knock-off of The Book of Life. Doesn't even feel like Disney in the trailers.
  10. Hey; Empowered; nice! I stumbled onto it less than a year ago as a webcomic. I'd heard they had a print version, nice to finally see it does exist.
  11. Saw the title of the thread, remembered this:
  12. The Japanese Voice Actress Hiromi Tsuru died yesterday at age 57 from an Aortic Dissection (same thing that got John Ritter). She was the original Japanese voice actress for DBZ's Bulma, Kimagure Orange Road's Madoka, Ranma's Ukyo, Trigun's Meryl, Dominion Tank Police's Leona, Gall Force's Lufy, as well as many, many others... damn. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hiromi_Tsuru
  13. Cue the sad music and the Ben Affleck realization memes
  14. Walking Dead: The Next Generation... ah, nope.
  15. I heard Zahn was writing a few SWR episodes, but I could be mistaken. I do know that he's writing another Thrawn trilogy that is now canon, all set before he makes an appearance in Rebels... hence my guess at Thrawn's chances for survival.
  16. I saw those episodes and the later ones where teamed up with Blade... no, they didn't.
  17. Morbius was like all the stupidity of The Twilight Saga before there was an Edward to mock...
  18. I want McShane back or no cookies for them
