It looks deliciously weird, gonna have to snag the dvd.
Mr. Hakujin
^^ Um, pass. And please avoid using phrases like "deliciously weird." It makes you sound like this guy: No offense, just tryin' to look out for a brutha.

Thelogan
^^ Um, pass. And please avoid using phrases like "deliciously weird." It makes you sound like this guy: I hear it as Goose Gladwell. Can you imagine me saying it while wiggling my fingers together in front of my face? I can imagine it and I just did. It was awesome. Haku, you should just immediately watch, read or listen to everything I ever mention without hesitation. It makes things much easier. Naked Cosmos will be great. Back to why I came here: One of Kyle Baker's awesome covers. This guy sure has come a long way since The Cowboy Wally Show, pretty stuff. Here's hoping the book is actually good. Mr. Hakujin
I had to look up Goose Gladwell, but Malcom Gladwell gave an awesome TED talk on spaghetti sauce. The NZA
Carnage vs Spider-Man & Iron Man? why, yes, yes i'll read that. sentry space-ripping never happened. let us not discuss this.

Thelogan
I probably won't be reading that, unless at some point in the future someone tells me how great it was and that I really missed out. This got me thinking: What would happen if someone was infected with the Extremis virus and then bonded with a symbiote?

Thelogan
Heh. You read LOTS of Marvel. I KNOW IT! 'S true! What's more, any Marvel pre-1996 or so is scorched into my brain. I think a lot of kids memorize stats off baseball cards or something, I know shit like Stilt-Man's real name. It is a fact though that I very, very rarely buy monthly pamphlet style Marvel books anymore. I'll snag a trade here and there and read the digital shit, but my monthly money goes almost exclusively to Fantagraphics publications. Exceptions tend to occur only when a writer or artist I dig is involved (and I've been burned on that before. Really Mr. Milligan? Toxin? ). The NZA
buncha-carnage haters. there's weird rumors that it's not Kassidy (sp) under the symbiote, guess we'll see...but yeah, this can't be worse than Toxin.
Panch
buncha-carnage haters. there's weird rumors that it's not Kassidy (sp) under the symbiote, guess we'll see...but yeah, this can't be worse than Toxin. Obviously not Kasady. Dude is dead. Toxin was garbage on a stick. Anti-Venom is a step above Toxin, but the fans seem to like him. As far as Carnage is concerned, you know I love the guy! I just don't wanna see him get raped anymore. Also, the 90s are over (except for in Shadowland). Logan called it. Iron-Carnage coming soon! The NZA
see, Iron-Carnage might be worth my time are we so sure, though? i just cracked open "Breakout", and again, there's Sentry, ripping Carnage in half in space, and there's red bits but its hard to tell if thats meat or suit...i'm saying, this is marvel, if they want him back in it, anything can happen. mebbe Sentry dying "undid" it or some shit. or it was part of the deal with mephisto! Iambaytor
Fuck you, I own the Toxin trade and it's a well-written little story with a new spin on the whole symbiote mess that was sorely needed. Anti-Venom is no classic Venom, but his mini was pretty good and I'm just glad to have Eddie back in a suit, even if it's not the right one. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cletus_Kasadyhttp://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cletus_Kasady In New Avengers #2, Carnage is one of several supervillains trying to escape from The Raft.[12] Sentry finishes him off, flying Carnage outside the Earth's atmosphere and ripping him apart. According to Iron Man's computer, Kasady may not have been inside the symbiote when the Sentry ripped it apart.[13] However, it is later discovered that Kasady did in fact die in the incident, and that the symbiote will return to Earth to find a new female host.[14] I give it a year before they retcon that shit unless they can find a female villain as awesome as Kassady. (Callisto, maybe, but that would seem forced. Would be cool if it was MJ but that's just because I'm a dark-hearted soul) Edited September 9, 2010 by Iambaytor
