Aartemys
Everybody Wants to Rule the World by: Tears for fears Don't make it a big deal, don't be so sensitive We're not playing a game anymore; you don't have to be so defensive Don't you plead me your case, don't bother to explain Don't even show me your face, 'cuz it's a crying shame Just go back to the rock from under which you came Take the sorrow you gave and all the stakes you claim - And don't forget the blame

Jesi
Actually it's "Hello" by Evanescence. I'm walking down the line that divides me somewhere in my mind on the borderline of the edge here where I walk alone

dante
Kind of an obscure one, but one of my favorite songs: Milk by Garbage Try this out: When the plane came in, She said she was crashing, The velvet it rips, In the city we tripped, On the urge to feel alive, But now I'm struggling to survive... Jesi
3EB - "Semi-Charmed Life" "Your faith was strong but you needed proof You saw her bathing on the roof Her beauty in the moonlight overthrew you She tied you to a kitchen chair She broke your crown, she cut your hair, and from your lips she drew the Hallelujah..." Reverend Jax
Hallelujah...originally by Jeff Buckley, covered a few times, a few years ago by Rufus Wainwright ina popular version featured in Shrek. This is one of my all-time favorite songs. Anyone who hasn't hear it should treat themselves to getting into it, once you know it it's the best song to sing along to: Stop right there! I gotta know right now! Before we go any further do you love me? Will you love me forever? Do you need me? Will you never leave me? Will you make me so happy for the rest of my life? Will you take me away and will you make me your wife?
Jesi
Paradise By Dashboard Light - Meatloaf It's a matter of instinct, it's a matter of conditioning, it's a matter of fact. You can call me Pavlov's dog. Ring a bell and I'll salivate. How'd you like that?
Reverend Jax
Brain Wilson by Barenaked Ladies Hope someone knows this classic: What a drag it is getting old... Kids are different today, I hear every mother say. Mother needs something today to calm her down. And though she's not really ill, there's a little yellow pill. She's goes running for the shelter of her mother's little helper.

Jesi
Maroon 5 - Shiver I swear I recognize your breath Memories like fingerprints are slowly raising Me, you wouldn't recall, for I'm not my former It's hard when you're stuck upon the shelf
dante
I remembered those lyrics but I couldn't place the song. So I'll let someone else give it shot.
Jesi
Yeah, it's a great song but it can be kinda hard to pick out, for one because it didn't get the same kind of air play as some of the band's other songs (which disappoints me somewhat), also because the rhythm of the song and the way the vocalist sings, distorts the lyrics some, and then the title of the song isn't mentioned within the lyrics themselves. I hope someone gets it though, and if not, you all should go acquire this song and listen to it because it's great.
Reverend Jax
The concisely titled "Elderly Woman Behind The Counter In A Small Town" by Pearl Jam, off their crown jewel, their single finest album, Vs. Eeyore, you were close. It was Mother's Little Helper by the Stones. Same time period though. Now, I'm...gonna love you... Til the heavens stop the rain I'm...gonna love you... Til the stars fall from the sky...for you and I
The NZA
C'mon, c'mon, c'mon, c'mon now, touch me, babe by the Doors. My turn: There's a king on a throne with his eyes torn out There's a blind man looking for a shadow of doubt There's a rich man sleeping on a golden bed There's a skeleton choking on a crust of bread...
