MusicManiac
Brave for PS2 is due out 8/30. Looks like a stamp of the old platformers like, Jak and Daxter. The Native American theme looks sweet too.

bishopcruz
Some upcoming games for the 360: Bullet Witch: Alan Wake, a new horror game from the makers of Max Payne. Kane and Lynch: Dead Men - Looks to be in the vein of the hitman games, but more actiony. HALO 3 - Oh fucking yeah!!! Blue Dragon: Out in Japan, hopefully out here soon. Eternal Sonata: Another JRPG for the 360 Lost Planet: Action game by Capcom Lost Odyssey: An FF style JRPG from the creator of FF himself. Crackdown: Action game kinda like Judge Dredd, from the creator of GTA.
The NZA
man, theyre gorgeous, but you know how we gotta handle these early shots. that max payne creator horror one could be cool, any details? good to see the j-rpg's, tho im thinking the DBZ people had a hand in Blue Dragon now, and also, McFarlane somehow got Cy-gor of Spawn fame into Halo 3. I mean, its not "Snake's in Smach Bros!?" weird, but its up there.

bishopcruz
From the Wikipedia: Alan Wake is a bestselling horror writer. Early on in his career, his fiancée Alice, was his muse. Just prior to meeting her, he had started to see strange dreams which he used as material for his first book. The book was a big success, a dream come true. But then Wake’s fiancée vanished without a trace. Wake was devastated. He couldn't write anymore, his dreams stopped and he began to suffer from insomnia. At the beginning of the game, Wake travels to a sleep clinic to seek treatment for his condition. The secluded clinic is located near the small town of Bright Falls, Washington, far away from the stressful urban lifestyle. Receiving treatment at the clinic, Wake is able to sleep again. At the clinic, he meets a mysterious woman who is the very image of his missing fiancée, uncannily so. At once, his dreams return, this time as terrible nightmares. Wake begins to write again: a new book based on those nightmares. But something is horribly, horribly wrong. Impossibly, the town of Bright Falls starts to change to something awful that bears a close resemblance to Wake’s new book. Wake ends up fighting for his life with a gun and a flashlight in his hands, trying to understand what’s happening Well, yeah, some of these shots may get a shight downgrade when the game launches, but probably not that much of one if at all. Halo 3 should actually look a lot better as it is using a ton of placeholder textures right now, and these shots are from a pre-alpha build. Bullet Witch, Blue Dragon and Lost Planet are already out in Japan. So the sceens should be quite accurate. Crackdown comes out here in less than a month, so ditto. Blue Dragon has character designs by Akira Toriyama, who has done all the Dragon Warrior games, The Tobal Games, and Chrono Trigger. From what I hear it plays a lot like a Dragon Quest game, with more customizability. Alan Wake has been on my list since it was first shown at e3 2005, Microsoft was smart to grab it as an exclusive. The NZA
shit, so good news all around - i was thinking it was that guy, the Chrono one. DQ series with more customization sounds awesome. your Alan Wake one sounds a lot like a Silent Hill game, but that's not a bad thing. i gotta push my luck: what's the release dates for the lot of em? its looking like a good year for the 360, shit. bishopcruz
Alan wake should be at least 6 months away, I haven't heard anything about it being almost ready, it's hitting PC too as one of the games that is driving Vista, so I would think March at the earliest, and I figure summer or fall is more likely. S.T.A.L.K.E.R has looked awesome for a while, but it shows no sign of imminent release, I wouldn't get excited about it until you see some concrete release dates.
