The NZA Posted December 16, 2004 Share Posted December 16, 2004 So ive been thinking: the few people who found us on google aside, its no secret that this place gets new people via six degrees of seperation methods...word of mouth, basically. And with several hundred non-trolls going, were doin good! Not to mention on average, there's 5-10 people actively on, way more than in years past....this place has never done this well. But its quality as well as quantity, and there's certain members I miss, and am attempting to get back. A number of the classic Preacher forum people have been emailed invitations, from Johny, Thom Cashel (tho his mail is ), Stimpy, DA JUDGE, Andy Varley, Ramires, and mysterytramp. The other good news is that Metal Heart, Junkerseed and Da Cap'n are all expected to have internet back by next month, which'll be great to see em both return (eeeeee!). Coley, on the other hand - our short-lived artisan, right before the crash - seems offline entirely for the time being, tho i intned to watch her art page from time to time to see if she shows back up, i think she was pretty cool too. As for ...who knows. Otherwise, the return of 2Track, Sig, Tulip, the OBO grrls, MLB, KOS, arc, mabye Satcha, etc have me all hyped ( ), so the question is: who do you wish to see return, and how you wanna go about it? With the $50s, I wish I had 'em too, I just llike throwing the URL onto the bills in hope some fecker comes on. I'd do $1 bills but we get a whole lot more a them than 50s and up. The NZA Posted May 26, 2008 Author Share Posted May 26, 2008 well, we've got 2 solid libertarians in gunsmith & bishop, id like to see them more active for one. id tried recruiting conservatives in the past but they ranged from passive to foaming-at-the-mouth, so i dont know - if i come across somebody id take the opportunity, but if you asked me which was worse - people being largely on the same page (on most issues, which even then isnt entirely true here) or red v blue bickering, im not entirely sure what my answer'd be at the moment. ill be honest, panch is working (as ever) on recruitment on other forums. me, i havent though about active recruitment in a while; were actually at a point - thanks largely to google - that im not approving every single application anymore. if you look like a spammer, or cant verify your email, im not doing it for you unless you list another hondonian as a reference, you know?
