alive she cried
I hate to break this to you but Marvel did that a long time ago. Oh Noes, Lost Years will live on forever as one the best spidey stories ever told.

Thelogan
Just got (sorta) caught up on this. I'll get one thing out of the way real quick for those who don't already know: This Scarlet Spider is not Ben Reilly. It's the other clone. C'mon, you know. The book established itself really quickly. It's very streamlined, which I guess is a nice way of saying "simple". Very minor spoilers The difference between this guy & Parker/Reilly are made clear in the 2nd issue. He doesn't crack jokes, and if he's fighting to win he will fucking try to choke you to death and shoot you. He won't feel guilty about killing an enemy, but he's not going to do it when they're defenseless. This is important, since we now have three spider powered dudes in three different books, but all with different fighting styles and power variations (it's also important when they finally give me that new side scrolling brawler I've been wanting for 15 years). All in all, actually pretty damn cool.
Panch
Are we talkin about this: Cause, yeah, I'm liking this. It's to be expected, though. Any throwbacks to the clone saga is alright in my book.
The NZA
...sounds like ASC (and i) both need to be reading this.

alive she cried
Downloading as we speak, can't wait to read it. Also downloading Spider-Island, it'll be the first new Spidey book I've read since Civil War.
Thelogan
I would suggest you read Amazing Spider-Man #673 before hitting Scarlet Spider. Kinda leads straight into it.

Iambaytor
Scarlet Spider is a good book, it's one of my favorite books currently. Probably don't get your hopes up about the Ben Reilly thing, it's more than likely a fake-out.
IceManML
I hated the scarlet thing... I guess Spider-Man couldn't stay hot forever.
The NZA
Another unused #MCU design, this time it's #SpiderMan. Done for #CivilWar. Inspired by the Ben Reilly costume by Mark Bagley for the comics. pic.twitter.com/FuQZsaL9Fz — Ryan Meinerding (@MeinerdingArt) January 8, 2018
Da Cap'n 2099
Major error that they didn't add the original Scarlet Spider in that image. I know Peter never actually wore that one, but, I feel the original SS was the best alternate since the black costume.

Da Cap'n 2099
Yup. EDIT: Avenging Spider doesn't need to be in there. It's just the red & blue Joe Mad-ified. Edited January 9, 2018 by Da Cap'n 2099
C_U_SPACECOWBOY
I've got this one at home. Haven't found a place for it yet. Poses are less dynamic, but it's more complete and it's got ya boi.

The NZA
^STOP STEALING MY POSTS so panch you're saying this should be the same but with the spider from this cause i'd be down to see that (you should draw it!) what i always dug about the top one is that yeah it's 90s as hell with the glove fingers but i always dug how it was clearly trying to build on the classic costume, and so many of spidey's other greats didn't really feel that way to me
