This time, the jumper was not a homeless person. Why is it I feel worse about this than all the other killings, suicides or deaths? From the Beacon: The Miami Dade Police Department has identified the body of a young woman found early Friday morning at the Modesto Maidique Campus as Lisbel Garcia. According to Detective Javier Baez, there are no signs of foul play being involved. Garcia, 29, is not a current student at the University. Her body was found early Friday near the West side of the five-story Red Parking Garage by witnesses who called authorities to report the incident. While evidence points to a suicide, the Miami Dade Police Department is waiting for results from medical examiners before making further statements.
