La Lindsay Posted April 6, 2011 Share Posted April 6, 2011 I was talking to a girl at a store when I first moved up here and she said most of her friends decided to go to school in Miami after going for Spring Break and falling in love with the place. All I could think of was, "Wait until they get lost in Liberty City..." yeah, seriously. i mean, i get it, it's a beautiful city, but just wait until you have an actual job and have to battle-drive through miami every morning and evening. that gets old pretty quick. La Lindsay Posted April 7, 2011 Share Posted April 7, 2011 (edited) the only difference is cubans we dont do mass transit worth a crap that's a pretty big difference though. even with the program i run, the kids can't attend most of the events that are supposed to help them connect with one another because the transportation system is shitty and their parents view it as unsafe. i realize that cities with better transportation systems are usually more centralized but even chicago has commuter trains that stem out into the suburbs, which is pretty cool. miami was a poorly planned city. Only reason we'd settle in Miami is to be closer to the Hondos social hub.
