Mr. Hakujin Posted September 24, 2013 Share Posted September 24, 2013 DC seems to be trying to follow the Marvel Model of shaping the comic book world to mimic that of the movie world. Whereas Marvel gradually and subtly (Samuel L. Fury being an exception) did this, DC seems to just be outright letting WB Studios make their decisions for them. Again, DC is doing it half-assed when it comes to their movie-verse and comics. Marvel had the comic book guys consult and (in the case of Whedon) outright write & direct their films. DC shouldn't let Zack Snyder dictate Superman canon. I guess next 52 Supes will be fighting a 100ft samurai robot in a Japanese school girl outfit.
