Mr. Hakujin
So Rhino is his nickname as a trucker, Spidey takes him down doing something bad, and Os-Corp gives him a robo-exoskeleton for vengeance. Sound about right?
Iambaytor
That picture has officially made this franchise enticing to me.
Keth
I've read that Giamatti really wanted to play Rhino. And that he was a fan of him as a kid, the suit and all. I don't see him not donning the costume during the movie. Anyone that played that bad video game knows that rhino was in it as a genetic experiment, but this is looking to divert from that thankfully. Mr. Hakujin
So this is why the Rhino is driving a truck. Jables
So Rhino is his nickname as a trucker, Spidey takes him down doing something bad, and Os-Corp gives him a robo-exoskeleton for vengeance. Sound about right? That sounds right That picture has officially made this franchise enticing to me. That sounds wrong. From what I understood of it, Rhino is pretty much the same deal as Mac Gargan aka The Scorpion. Sealed in the suit for good. Except that Gargan clearly made it out at some point to become Venom. I defer to our resident SPidey expert Panch here, but I believe Rhino, just like Scorpion was also a Jameson-funded project. I wonder if that's how they'll bring Jonah into the fold as well? Panch
Correct. And it's funny you mention Jonah cause Rhino was originally contracted to capture his son John. Edited May 14, 2013 by Panch

alive she cried
WARNING HUGE POTENTIAL SPOILERS For not only AS-M2, but AS-M 3 as well. EXCLUSIVE: Which Classic Spidey Character Is Colm Feore Playing In TASM 2? We've managed to confirm that Feore will be playing a character from classic Spidey lore in Marc Webb's sequel to The Amazing Spider-Man. Plus, find out how this character ties in with the film's villains to...well, you'll have to click for more! SPOILERS ahead.. By Mark "RorMachine" Cassidy - 6/9/2013 We've got a couple of very interesting bits of Spidey related loveliness for you today. First off -- as I'm sure you've gathered from the image above -- we can 100% confirm that Colm Feore is actually playing Adrian Toomes aka The Vulture in The Amazing Spider-Man 2. And that's not all -- apparently he will join forces with Rhino, Electro and Green Goblin to form the first four members of The Sinister Six, setting them up for the threequel. Who the other two will be is unknown, but it's always possible The Lizard could return as one of them. It also seems that we can forget all that stuff about Norman Osborn not taking up the Green Goblin mantel in the movie! Chris Cooper was spotted on set as Goblin (head in place;) battling Spider-Man, and we're told they'll likely be duking it out in the movie's climax, no doubt leading to the death of Miss Gwen Stacy (Emma Stone). What do you guys make of this huge news? Sound off below. Read more at http://www.comicbook...HW7rBsz04ukq.

Iambaytor
A two and a half hour movie couldn't contain venom and sandman with a green goblin sidebar, I've no idea how they'll manage all this.
alive she cried
Woah! Full steam ahead apparently. CULVER CITY, Calif., June 17, 2013 – With Sony Pictures Entertainment now in production in New York on The Amazing Spider-Man™ 2, slated for release on May 2, 2014, the studio is planting its flag on two future release dates for one of the most successful franchises in studio history, it was announced today by Jeff Blake, Chairman, Worldwide Marketing and Distribution for Sony Pictures. alive she cried
In other news Black Cat confirmed, kinda? "I really enjoyed it because it was so different from anything I've ever done before. And just testing a different thing in you as an actor, because the scale is so enormous. but I had a really fun time." The Flicks And The City interviewer then straightforwardly asked Jones is she looking forward to everyone seeing her as Black Cat, to which Felicity stammered, "Um, well, uhhh... possibly. I don't know, yeah. I kind of, it's umm...yeah, if that happens, that would be wonderful, yeah." Reverend Jax
If there was any doubt that Sony will NEVER, EVER let their Spider-Man film rights revert to Marvel/Disney, this should extinguish that doubt. The Amazing Spider-Man took in over $750 million at the worldwide box office last year. $750M is not that impressive for a major property like Spider-Man anymore. That was enough to come in 7th for the year (4 movies grossed over a billion in 2012). For comparison, all three of the Raimi Spider-Man movies were the 3rd highest grossing movies of their respective years and all made over $800M. Iambaytor
They do seem content to overload this crazy train until it goes off the rails though. Even if they are planning 4 movies right now they're throwing a lot at this franchise and they're living pretty dangerously here. We'll see how this works out.
