alive she cried
I couldn't find a thread for this, so merge if it already exists. Disney Moves Up ANT-MAN's Release Date Breaking: Disney have moved up the release of Marvel's Ant-Man by almost four months, and it'll now hit in the Summer of 2015 instead of in November. No more competition from Bond, but it'll face an even bigger challenge! Click on for the details.. Follow Mark "RorMachine": By Mark "RorMachine" Cassidy - 9/9/2013 It seems Disney have enough faith in Edgar Wright's Ant-Man to officially make it a Summer release. The flick was originally set for November 6, 2015, but now it will hit on July 31, 2015. The new date means it'll no longer face competition from Bond 24, but, it will find itself smack bang in the third week of Batman/Superman's run! Aside from a few vague hints from the director, we really don't know too much about this one yet, and there haven't even been any solid casting rumors so far -- but expect that to change pretty soon. Who would you like to see shrink down in 2015? Read more at http://www.comicbook...8ebic8MkGY8j.
Reverend Jax
Well, this is ridiculous. Summer 2015 is so jam-packed, it's practically got a huge tent-pole franchise film coming out each weekend, and there's no room for Ant-Man to succeed. Summer 2015 has Avengers 2, Batman/Superman, Star Wars 7, Jurassic Park 4, Hunger Games 4, Pirates of the Caribbean 5, Terminator 5, Independence Day 2, an Assassin's Creed movie, maybe the Warcraft movie and a few others too. Iambaytor
To be fair I can wait for all but 1 and a half of those to come out on blu-ray and not feel unfulfilled.
Panch
I'll be there opening weekend for Ant-Man.
Iambaytor
Yeah, it's looking like Ant-Man and Avengers 2 for me. I'll maybe catch Batman/Superman once I've heard some opinions, otherwise I'll just rent/download the rest.
Panch
The 13 year old Panch in me will probably drag me to Jurassic Park opening day.
The NZA
logos are just so hot right now so yeah, it's a thing - again dunno why id want without Wright, but they've yet to have a misstep yet by me
alive she cried
Even the Thor movies?
The NZA
...you considered those a misstep? maybe Green Lantern helped lower the bar, but i expected Thor to be boring as fuck and got an entertaining movie
C_U_SPACECOWBOY
I don't really understand the flack the Thor movies seem to get. Pre-MCU, I was certain that was a doomed prospect, and I was pleasantly surprised by both. Hell, after the Dark World, I want a damn Warriors Three spinoff! Visitant
I went into thor with the expectation it was going to be the shitty psuedo shakespearin verbage slinging crap I remember as a kid and came away absolutely loving it.
Keth
I'm with Space 110%. I really want a Warriors Spinoff, or at the very least a Oneshot.

alive she cried
It looks...fine. I imagine it'll be pretty fun. I loved Honey I Shrunk The Kids back in the day, and they could really benefit from the whole, everything looks cool up close factor. Keth
I think we're just comparing it to all the other great Marvel movies that have come out recently, and compared to those it doesn't look very good. I think that trailer was just cut really bad though.
