The NZA
whiskey goes well with "DJ Shadow - Midnite in a Perfect World", one of his best. even better than "What does your soul look like, part 2". more good techno: chicane "daylight", and prolly my all-time favorite, Orbital "halcyon + on + on". Great, great memories.

BrigitDryad0
Little Lotte thought of everything and nothing Her father promised her that he would send her the Angel of Music Her father promised her Her father promised her You were once my one companion You were all that mattered You were once a friend and father Then my world was shattered Wishing you were somehow here again Wishing you were somehow near Some times it seemed if I just dreamed Somehow you would be here Wishing I could hear your voice again Knowing that I never would Dreaming of you won't help me to do All that you dreamed I could Passing bells and sculpted angels Cold and monumental Seem for you the wrong companions You were warm and gentle... ...Too many years fighting back tears Why can't the past just die Wishing you were somehow here again Knowing we must say goodbye Try to forgive, teach me to live Give me the strength to try No more memories, no more silent tears No more gazing across the wasted years Help me say goodbye Help me say goodbye

Ganny McVagflaps
I used t'see Andy Cairns all the time, had a few drinks with him and all that. Sound man. I also got their original demo from back in the day and used to call up Mike's house and annoy his sister 'cause his phone number was on the back of the tape.... BrigitDryad0
Here comes the cold Break out the winter clothes And find a love to call your own You--enter you Your cheeks a shade of pink And the rest of you in powder blue Who knows what will be But I'll make you this guarantee No way November will see our goodbye When it comes to December it's obvious why No one wants to be alone at Christmas time In the dark, on the phone You tell me the names of your brothers And your favorite colors I'm learning you And when it snows again We'll take a walk outside And search the sky Like children do And I'll say to you No way November will see our goodbye When it comes to December it's obvious why No one wants to be alone at Christmas time And come January we're frozen inside Making new resolutions a hundred times February, won't you be my valentine? And we'll both be safe 'til St. Patrick's Day We should take a ride tonight around the town and look around at all the beautiful houses Something in the way that blue lights on a black night can make you feel more Everybody, it seems to me, just wants to be Just like you and me No one wants to be alone at Christmas time And come January we're frozen inside Making new resolutions a hundred times February, won't you be my valentine? And if our always is all that we gave And we someday take that away I'll be all right if it was just 'til St. Patrick's Day
BrigitDryad0
This is always a bad season. When I was a kid, it was my favorite (next to Halloween), what with the decorating and cooking and my birthday and all, but since...well, since my first winter in high school, I've just been more and more disappointed each year. Even when there were some good things going on, there were more bad things...and this year, as in previous ones, someone's playing catch-and-release with my heart...and if there were a way out--to get over him--I'd leap at the chance... BrigitDryad0
Suppose I said I am on my best behavior And there are times I lose my worried mind Would you want me when I'm not myself? Wait it out while I am someone else? Suppose I said Colors change for no good reason And words will go From poetry to prose Would you want me when I'm not myself? Wait it out while I am someone else? And I, in time, will come around I always do for you Suppose I said You're my saving grace? Would you want me when I'm not myself? Wait it out while I am someone else? BrigitDryad0
Back to you It always comes around Back to you I tried to forget you I tried to stay away But it's too late Over you I'm never over Over you Something about you It's just the way you move The way you move me I'm so good at forgetting And I quit every game I play But forgive me, love I can't turn and walk away Back to you It always comes around Back to you I walk with your shadow I'm sleeping in my bed With your silhouette Should have smiled in that picture If it's the last that I'll see of you It's the least that you Could not do Leave the light on I'll never give up on you Leave the light on For me, too For me, too For me, too Back to me I know that it comes Back to me Doesn't it scare you Your will is not as strong As it used to be
