Jumbie
One thing I've always loved is R/C and the new R/Cs are incredible: Take a look username: drunkennews password: pinky THat article includes a look at the palmsized helicopter I'm offering as a prize in this semester's reading programme at the primary school. The NZA
nice, hadnt seen that one - any other good ones in that line? i keep wondering if this thread belongs here..
Jumbie
Dude, Invincible looks like a flaming homo in that sculpture. (And if you didn't think so before, then I dare you to look at it from now on and not agree with me...)
Jumbie
Just to clarify: I *like* the fact that he looks like a flaming homo. I recall him being hetero in the books I read, but you know, teenage sexuality is never a settled issue. Just ask Nick about the time he took on a dozen guys at a highschool party and left bleeding...
The NZA
i repress a lot. i think it looks cool, but if anything, its the hand. that could be somewhere else less homo, but its not enough that id notice it before jumbie pointed it out, at least. Jumbie
Any comments about you and the dozen guys? I seem to recall you told me once that you'd never felt so proud or somesuch... Edited February 10, 2007 by Jumbie
Boogie
I'm starting my collection again. First a Macross Valkyrie that always wanted. It has 3 transformations. I think it's one of the best toys in the world... In the summer I'm gonna start buying some McFarlane ones... In the meantime BEHOLD! Jumbie
That packaging says 'battroid' when it should say 'battloid'. Is that some kinda joke about the way Japanese people speak?

Newtype
I can buy a Wii anytime but stuff like that are rare to find once it sells out. Think about this for a sec but do you remember the 12" Lone wolf an cub figure from a few years ago. You couldn't find that anywhere after it sold out. aw man, there's 2 of you guys now Got a problem with that.

Jables
Invincible's hand is fine. S'not like the guy has pockets, innit? I finally added President Superman & Batman from the DC Direct Elseworlds Red Son wave 2 as well(pictured like, everywhere by me) and these ones? I'm keeping in the boxes just to add a little nerd to the doghouse, 'cause I don't think the Wolverine & Cap posters do that enough.

Boogie
These 2 are my new mechas. I'm not a really big fan of Gundam, but I really like the design of the mechas... It took me almost 2 days to assemble and paint these 2...And the Red Gundam it's not finished yet. I need to buy some stuff to finish it... White Line Nightmare
The Toy Box thread slipping off the first page? Not on my watch. Picked these up last night (after driving all over Miami for weeks): STAR WARS EPISODE III AIRBORNE TROOPER http://starwars.com/community/event/con/f2...sbro/img/37.jpg RALPH MCQUARRIE CONCEPT STORM TROOPER FROM A NEW HOPE http://www.starwars.com/community/event/co...sbro/img/38.jpg STAR WARS EPISODE III GALACTIC MARINE http://starwars.com/community/event/con/f2...sbro/img/35.jpg
The NZA
Nice. anyone esle iffy about the upcoming Mcfarlane Baeur figure? Looks sharp, but its always the fact that's a bit off. I felt that way with the first Solid Snake they did, but by the MGS2 line, he had it down right. also: how awesome are these Cap custom figures? Hope the image is still up, that Winter Soldier was cool.
White Line Nightmare
I've seen Fetts_DNA's stuff before. Probably over at the Fwoosh custom forums. Clicky: http://www.fwooshnet.com/forum/viewforum.php?f=9 That place is full of genuinely talented guys (the hobby's like, 99.9% male-dominated). One of the absolute best is this Canadian cat Glorbes. I think that he's one of the few who's really taking customizing to the next level-- going beyond working with existing toys and starting to build his own shit, which is mind-blowing.
