A movie starring that guy I actually kinda wanna see. Cronenberg directing it does help the case though.

I'm way more excited for this movie than I should be

How is it you two (axel and logan) see that trailer at think it has any chance of being good? On paper, something with Guillermo Del Toro's name on it and something that can be called 'from the people that brought you How to Train Your Dragon," sounds great, but that trailer looks awful. It looks wholly humorless, not clever, and that animation looks like something that would have been cutting edge ten years ago. I really thought Dreamworks was on a roll lately with How to Train Your Dragon and the two Kung Fu Pandas and a few others (I haven't seen Megamind, but I heard good things and it looks pretty funny), but this looks like it would be painful to watch.

Looking at a Wikipedia page of upcoming Dreamworks animated films, I see there is a Mr. Peabody & Sherman coming up in early 2014. That has me excited. By definition, i has to be better than Rocky & Bullwinkle, right?

Please, tell me what else no one should enjoy.

Uhhhh, I don't look to these gimmicky glitzy kid's movies for high quality humor there fella. I'm impressed that you have such a high barometer for them though.

Mr. Peabody & Sherman sounds like a good idea, if they can capture that sarcasm properly.

Happy Feet is cinematic gold!

I'm not trying to be condescending, I'm just genuinely puzzled. I do not understand how that looks appealing to anyone other than a kid who gets excited by anything animated and colorful. And I didn't say I thought it was devoid of "high quality humor," I said it looks like it's "wholly humorless." That trailer didn't have any humor in it, high or low quality. I really don't understand the appeal of that trailer. Explain to me how that looks good. I am baffled how two Hondonains can find that trailer exciting. One I would write off as a fluke, but two, I just don't understand.

Like I said, I don't find much of anything in the CG kid movie genre very funny. I understand a connoisseur would be taken aback by the lack of quality dancing and hilarious silly faces, but it's absence doesn't blip on my radar. I'm sure this probably will be billed as some kind of comedy, but I find the assumption that any movie of this type must be so pretty stifling.

I'm a little baffled by your definition of "excited" too, my quote was that I "wouldn't mind watching that".

It looks like League of Extraordinary Gentleman with mythological children's Fables. I would be slightly interested by the idea alone.

Well I'm excited to see it. Four mythological kids characters team up to fight something threatening the world... hell that almost sounds an awful lot like....

The simple answer is I just think it looks like a fun movie.
