Thelogan
A movie about dancing that I actually want to see? And BADLY at that? What the hell is the world coming to? The training montage alone is going to be worth the price of admission.
Mr. Hakujin
^^That trailer gave me cancer, Logan. Seth Rogan even wrote a movie about it... <div>" rel="external nofollow">http://d.yimg.com/nl/movies/site/player.html#vid=26251727"> </div>
Thelogan
Haku clearly has no appreciation for the sheer badassness of J-Tro. He dances with his mind not his feet. THIS IS THE FP BITCH! Edited August 12, 2011 by Thelogan

Thelogan
Some people have made me aware that there are other movies besides The FP coming out. I know, it sounded preposterous to me too. I don't think I'd want to release my play the same year that Hamlet came out, and by the same token I don't know why Hollywood is even trying to compete right now. But there is video proof, and I am first and foremost a man of science. <div></div>" rel="external nofollow">http://d.yimg.com/nl/movies/site/player.html#vid=26302291"></div> Edited August 19, 2011 by Thelogan

The NZA
someone marked this (jokingly) as a Matrix Revolutions remake. i dont really know how, but it's already more entertaining. i'm chalking it up to not just my love of kung-fu flicks & asian culture, but not-knowing-whats-going-on unnecessarily as well. ongoing theory of mine: if jar jar would've spoken fun gibberish like R2, he'dve caught at least 75% less of the hate. Thelogan
I would like to see that film. I don't really care what it's about. I'm just really into hats.

Thelogan
BWAAAAAAHAhahaa. WAT! that looks awful. Was that his 13 year old first cousin the dashing Mr. Poe was kissing? I hope this movie provides him an opportunity to showcase his swordfighting skills.

The NZA
on the upside, we can just go watch nine inch nails "perfect drug" video and call it a superior prequel.
Mr. Hakujin
Obviously they're not going for anything accurate in Poe's life, so I'll forgo any faux-fanboy rage over the avalanche of historical inaccuracies. However, the idea of seeing the murders in some of his most gruesome short stories put on screen could be cool. The "Mask of the Red Death" scene in the trailer looked interesting. Also looks as though they're going for a Guy Ritchie Sherlock Holmes vibe and it could work. Maybe. Too bad they couldn't get Depp to be Poe though. Looks like he passed to play Barnabas and work w/ Burton for the umpteenth time. Edited October 9, 2011 by Mr. Hakujin

Reverend Jax
That Harold & Kumar movie looks excellent. Maybe. Looks like they tried for the awful Brother Grimm movie from like 6 years ago, with Heather Ledger and Matt Damon directed by Terry Gilliam. Mr. Hakujin
^^Hmm, good point. Although I didn't hate that movie as much as most people. It was a damn sight better than the last film Gilliam did w/ Ledger, Dr. Parnassus, was it? I'm not sure if this has been posted here yet, but as a Shakespeare nerd I'm psyched about these kinds of "What if?" films. However, Roland Emmerich directing doesn't do much for heightening my expectations.
