  1. We got this fucker pre-ordered. This is like, mandatory - for any self-respecting collector / Bat / cartoon fan. This will eventually be on your shelf. I forget where - but, Alx found a spot where they have it for $100 - flat. I think we had it on Amazon for awhile for $112 - but, she found a 'deal' someplace just this morning. I'll report back w/ more info. I couldn't get into Young Justice - but, yeah - JL absolutely holds up. I binged the entire series a few years back...it's non-stop awesome. That's been on blu. I need to pick that up. Man, here's hoping this creates buzz and X-Men gets a blu treatment...and other quality 80s / 90s toon shows. Still waiting for Spidey the Animated Series on freakin' DVD!
  2. Wrapped up 'The Way: Remastered' on Switch. 2 bucks on E Shop. Required purchase if you like stuff like 'Another World' and 'Flashback'. It's about a dude who's wife dies and he embarks on a quest to bring her back to life. 2 dollahs...pretty good stuff. Sum cheap-ass puzzles...HAD to google - but 90% - solid. Also - I'm a super-badass...I have a medal to prove it. ^ That's Hyrule Warriors on Wii U. I JUST did that. There is no way in hell - I can do all that leveling and grinding and Skulltula hunting AGAIN...on Switch. I'm good.
  3. ^ Sonic Mania Review incoming... ^ I collect magnets...my poor fridge... ^ LOL - JUDY! I thought of those 'Clue' pins you put up way back, when I saw that button - LOL! There was this director on a show I was on - who wore a denim jacket that was COVERED in patches and pins...and buttons - I was like, 'THAT is fucking AWESOME.' I'm gonna do the same - get a denim jacket and cover it in patches n' pins / buttons...put my damn collection to actual use! She gave me a few pins and patches as a 'thank you' after the show - I got me sum good stuff. Also - Walmart...for a buck. They only made Leo...I'm gonna get 4. Open - n' line 'em up. Mirage mini-set...for 4 bucks. What-what.
  4. I think this goes here... Newtype would prolly get a kick outta this: It's Larry David! And me - on the verge of freakin' tears! LOL - his sig is already framed. Great, dry sense of humor - razor freakin' wit. He trolled these 'young adults' that came up and asked if he was the guy who created Ducktales. He just stared at me - and stone-faced just said yes - and also took credit for creating Donald Duck...back in 1934. They were amazed...and then just kept walking. I died. Fun facts: His favorite comic series is Tales From the Crypt and the first comic Carl Barks ever read was 'Little Nemo'.
  5. Believe me: looks better in person. LOL - pic dudn't doodit justice.
  6. DRAGONCON 2018!!! I thought there was a thread for 'Comic Convention' stuff, but I couldn't find it. (I only found a Supercon one) Sooo - I'm gonna post my load here, feel free to move it... It - was - HUUUUUGE. Kay - huge doesn't even describe it. If you've been to Supercon - imagine that size...that space...times four. Like, it WAS Supercon - but Supercon multiplied by 4 floors. Like, you went up an escalator...and the next floor was just as packed w/ stuff and people...and so was the 3rd floor...AND the 4th. And THAT was just ONE building...there were 5 buildings. Spread out across Downtown Atlanta...it was like going to Disneyworld. After you'd check out a 'building' (these buildings were massive hotels: Hilton, Marriot, ect.) you'd hafta walk a couple of blocks to hit up another 'location' / 'building'. Mass of humans - lots of costumes - lots of foot-travel. LOL - TOTALLY unprepared for the enormity of the whole...thing. Each 'hotel' had different stuff - one dedicated exclusively to cosplay / exhibition / showin' off your gear / panels on making gear - then another dedicated to swag / shopping, another for gaming...they had an entire floor dedicated to Japanese Arcade games. Whaaaaa... REPTAR!!! My niece-in-law came up for the event - as Gaiman's Death: We bumped into another 'Death' - Floors dedicated to costumes... ^ Sum folks I'm working w/ got their mitts in all kinds of fx and costuming all up in ATL. The person who tapped me to storyboard her script - made and performed as a female Mysterio...walking alongside Stan Lee's parade float a few years back. LOL - she says he loved it and gave it his seal of approval...like, literally! There's sum sort of...holographic authenticator...sticker. LOL - ah dunno. Some insanely talented folks there... ...really talented. It was kewl - but, IT. IS. HUUUUGE. There wasn't enough time to fully absorb - EVERYTHING. Totally drained by the evening. It's a 3(?)day event - a lot of people stay at the hotels and they have events and parties that go one till all hours of the night. Lotta mercy.
  7. Southern Fried Gaming Expo. Dedicated to retro games, pinball - big deal here in Atlanta. I was shocked they were there. Billy Mitchell was there - in his booth, all by himself. Nobody was stopping or talking to him...and it was fucking packed! It really was a surreal...pathetic sight. SHUNNED. I was like, "Yeeeah - this is prolly the last time this dude is ever going to be doing this. We're getting a pic n' autograph." He was like: "Sure! Pay whatever you'd like. You can even take a poster...take as many as you want." I gave him 11 bucks. He also hooked us up w/ sum free hotsauce. He told us he was waiting for Walter - and if we came back later when Walter was there, he'd hook us up w/ an autograph n' pic. We did - and he did. Super nice, guys - we chilled w/ 'em for 'bout 10-15 minutes. Talkin' smelly con-weirdos, how modern games suck and getting old. Then we held hands - nah. Concerning the scandal - maaan, I'm saving that story. It got weird. Like, 'what is happening right now?' I'm totally gonna hunt down and get Wiebe's autograph on that poster. Speaking of! Todd Rogers was there, too - but, I missed him. It's gonna get ugly at one of these things one day. Only a matter of time before they just get heckled out. Billy live-streamed hitting a million on DK a few days ago. He hit a million - and then literally walked away from the machine - letting it 'Game Over'. (sigh) It's too late, bruh! I'm currently going for the Donkey Kong killscreen (Level 22). A million points is like....INSANE point-pressing (milking / exploiting every milisecond) I just want to say I've 'beaten the game' / 'gotten to the killscreen'. I'm sooo getting there - I could totally do it. I'm recording that shit.
  8. I met Billy Mitchell and Walter Day a couple months ago... I HATED (that they were so freakin' nice n' real. 'SPECIALLY Walter Day) I could tell on their faces that were kids caught w/ their hands in the cookie jar. I wanna spill sum more juice , but I'll save those stories for in-person drunken rants. It got dangerously REAL. No one in that whole Expo wanted ANYTHING to do w/ these 'cheaters'. It really got surreal - when me n/ my gf were the only ones giving this person the time of day. 'member how I was THE best (#1) @ EWJ? That's me on DK on Switch...#17 mothuh-fuckaaaaaaahs!!!! Triple-digit Club, bitches! ^ LOL!!! What an asshole!
  9. Yep. Pretty much. My disdain for identity / gender politics - pandering - and people speaking on behalf of entire races / genders comes from a real place. I don't subscribe to any philosophy - my convictions comes from my own experiences. (shrugs) Agreed. LOL - I love it.
  10. Incorrect. No worries, tho - you don't hafta agree. Oh, dude - I assure you - I can handle your downvotes - LOL - I'm just glad it's my opinion you don't like - and you're not actually offended by anything I've said. (I do try to be respectful) Eh - also, incorrect. Like...very - to the point of reaching. It's the adlib-approach to the Sequel Trilogy that's ruining my Star Wars. SJWs are ruining everything else - LOL ;) Dude, nutjobs have a problem w/ women or people of color being cast. LOL - there's no controversy about that. The franchise has never been bias - it is big enough for any race, gender to star in. ALWAYS HAS. It's the same fucking shit as the Ghostbusters Reboot PR machine: "There have never been any strong female characters in movies - and it's about tiiime (followed by bobble-head applause)." C'mooon. And when people don't like the content - enter controversy: "Men can't handle strong females..." Hollywood says what it has to - to sell their garbage. Truth. It's sad how they whore people's race and gender to sell movie tickets. It's lazy. Tell me how in the fuck Captain Phasma was an empowering character? Rey is an empty plastic action figure...could've been a man! I would like more from my characters than: 'represents PR move'. Being female, latino, korean, homosexual doesn't automatically make you an interesting, relatable character. It's so shallow, it's creepy. Solid, interesting personalities / conflicts / developments are what make great characters / solid, interesting stories are what make good movies - not the 'representation check-list'. Hollywood seems to think - that's enough...and it makes my soul sad.
  11. No disrespect - but, dude lost me 'bout 3 minutes in. (shrugs) I gave it a shot! Obvious WWII references in the OT are very different than - It already was...big enough for everyone. #keep...blatant political...pandering...out of my Star Wars...com. #RIPGhostbustersReboot #justmakeagoodmovie.org #gender/race-doesnotautomaticallyequateworth...net #keepyourreligioninyourpants...@aol Be sure to rate and subscribe.
  12. I dunno...half an hour? One minute in - "it has to be turned into a battleground in the culture war - whatever that's supposed to be." Star Wars fans are not special.
  13. Ooooh. Yessss... "...I don't think you should go out there..." All day, every day. God bless the 80s.
  14. Yeah, the only good thing about that game for me, really - was that freakin' unlockable...but, I REALLY love that Arcade game. So - to me, worth the mindless slog. But, there are genuine DK64 fans out there - who don't care 'bout no 'dusty-ass old-man game' - who would immediately jump into a DK Rap seeing that game on the N64 mini. If Nintendo does get RARE onboard - solid chance DK64 is making the cut...along w/ Diddy Kong Racing. I'll take having to shuffle past DK64 if it means getting Diddy Kong Racing.
  15. Cool - yeah, no clue 'bout no Linux - I'm so computer illiterate, it's embarrassing. Think Vagrant told me Linux is an OS? I don't remember - I couldn't describe what Linux is if someone paid me. Learning to work 'code' has never stuck. I've followed sum tutorials throughout the years to do sum 'soft mods' on stuff (simple folder transferring) - and it always turns out to be a week-long process for something I know should take minutes...and I immediately forget what in the hell I did - LOL. My brain just hates and has difficulty w/ the process - and seems to immediately purge the knowledge once things are 'conjiggered'. Just ain't a computer guy...I hate that, but that's the kinda brain I was blessed with. Sum stuff is just easier for sum than others. I've always had difficulty and frustration. Good to know if the thing does brick - the brain is in the SD Card...(I'm guessing all the ROMs are stored in there, too) I'll do sum research specifically about turning down the settings to not be at 100% at all times. I've considered that possibility as the cause for my overheating, and I've seen sum suggestions for 'fixes' - but - the internet concerning cpu shit: everyone has a thousand methods...and they all speak in a language I don't understand. A lot of it is working lines of code - and just...LOL - "I'm not touching that shit." I just don't know what in the hell I'm doing to experiment. But, feels my issue is narrowed down - thank you, sir.
