  1. Mr. DNAAAAA...man, what a good call. I don't see it translating well into a Funko Pop, tho. But (shrugs) - maybe they've done a character / sculpt similar to what that is? Seems tricky. But Mr. DNA? In a heartbeat if it looks like him. LOL - in that JP Lego game, that was my go-to character. Him n' Nedry (gotta have a partner-character).
  2. ^ They need to make this a freakin' movie already. ^ I'd bite. Who'd be Leia, tho? Disney kinda already has a Solo n' Lando...but, we still haven't seen how all that is received. LOL - it might work better as an animated feature - straight to blu / dvd. They could do so many one-shots as animated ventures that...may not be home-runs as 'General Audience Blockbusters'...but surely, fans would eat up. Thinking of DCs animated straight-to-dvd projects.
  3. LOL - yeah, dunno why - but, sexy Goldblum ain't hitting me as hard as the rest o' youz guys.
  4. LOL - I'd so pick that up. Only fig in that JP batch I'd pick up would be poison-splattered Nedry...wish he wasn't 'smiling', tho. Is he smiling? A Toasty Tim would be the fig I'd get, tho - to rep JP on my shelf.
  5. What's interesting is that there doesn't seem to be any chips associated w/ these figs - no bonus swag or unlockables w/ Sony video games. Pure fig. That could lend itself to selling pretty damn well - considering it'll prolly be A LOT cheaper than Amiibo. I think it'll just be a matter of time, tho - before fans will want functionality outta these things, like Amiibo. I could see future waves having chips - n' Sony releasing some sort of portal-thingie to register your 'not-Amiibo'. But Sony's IPs are...very limited. They can't do what Nintendo is doing - as much as they try...and try they do. This could be very short-lived...unless 3rd Party gets involved, very hard. Oh, man - I already see a Totaku Sonic the Hedgehog.
  6. Where are the... ...X-Wiiiings?! Dying to see Season 4 - Season 2 was the shit, Season 3 was...not...the shit. For me, so far, the best thing that's happened 'Star Wars' - since the Disney sale - has been 'Rogue One'. Hoping for a nice tie-in w/ all dat and seeing a formal birth of the Rebellion...against the evil Empire - that will far exceed what I already have in my head. LOL - After seeing 'The Last Jedi', I have no interest in where Disney takes / adlibs the story post-ROTJ. In fact, before the buy-out...I was never invested in any post-ROTJ stuff. To me, 'Star Wars' has always ended w/ 'Return of the Jedi'. I was really invested in the Prequel era. Say what you want about the Prequels - but, the stage set (which 'Clone Wars' utilized wonderfully) - man, brilliant. Point is, I hope 'Rebels' isn't the last hurrah for the Lucas-era of Star Wars. I know we're getting the Han Solo movie, but stuff like 'Rogue One', 'Obi-Wan' - that's the kinda stuff I'm looking forward to now...more than Disney's proper 'Episodes'.
  7. Good lord, over 2 years since the last post... Now I kinda wish it was all just a massive graphical upgrade w/ added voice work. (Secret of Mana remake) Just so it can be out already - and not be episodic - and it not lose that 'complete' experience. BUT, it's looking insaaaane! I'm sure there's gonna be tons uploads on youtube of "FFVII: the Remake: the Movie" once this is all said n' done. W/ all the seriously-insane work they're putting into this - I hope Square is planning on putting out sum official blu release of a feature-version of the FFVII remake. Metroid 'Other M' has a theater-mode thingie - where they combine gameplay w/ the game's cinematics - so you can watch the whole game as a 'feature-film' w/ full context...it's like 3 hours. I've mentioned this elsewhere, but I wish that was a thing - basically, video game cinemas combined w/ gameplay and you can watch the entire thing - like, what Futurama did w/ their PS2 game on one of their DVDs. Advent Children has a featurette on blu, where they kiiinda did a 'feature-version' of FFVII w/ PSX gameplay n' cinemas. It jumped in story a lot - could've been better, but I would so invest in a genre like that - if video game companies took that route. Eh - I guess that's what youtube is for. But - y'know how these things end up being like, really cinematic - like, Resident Evil HD remake - an official Capcom release of a feature-version of the game (w/ gameplay context and all cinemas) would be sooo picked up - even if I have and play the game. Playing the game is a different thing - it's 'interactive / involved'...hours and hours...days! But sometimes, I skim through my game library and if I could just plop down and watch the 'epic / cinematic' games all the way through in a sitting - properly edited w/ gameplay - shiiit, I get in those moods. Just enjoy the production value - (sigh) but, yeeeah - youtube. I'd love to see all this amazing work cut together as a huge feature. I'd support an official Square release - despite youtube...and even despite owning the game already. Play Mode and Watch Mode.
  8. Word on the street: a massive RE announcement is coming t'morrow for RE2s 20th Anniversary. 20 years, ladies n' gents! NZA: "i still never played Zero yet..."
  9. 'Howl's Moving Castle' finally got here - all these flicks came w/ this lil' insert 'booklet' thingie...basically a 'thank you' from the 'filmmakers'...but 'Howl' was odd in that is also came w/ a slip pamphlet w/ all the Ghibli flicks available on blu - - thought I'd post - if anyone is considering hunting, you can see the size of the current Ghibli library. (squints) Damn, that's fuzzy...uh, that's 15 flicks total.
  10. If it ain't broke. Wait - are his 1930s strongman shorts A.I. or infused w/ the consciousness of Marlon Brando...?
  11. (whispers) It's available now on Netflix...
  12. ^ Season 2 is up on Netflix. Goddamn, that poster is awesome.
  13. Duuuuude - if you can get that running on your set up...I'd totally be down for an evening of Super Goldeneye...next time I'm down there - and more importantly, when Bishop ain't trying to sleep! (LOL - Sorry!) NZA, Panch, Nemo, Bishop battle. Me want. Get sum Newtype n' Vagrant in there, that could be a bad-ass lil Miami-Hondo getty...that I'm volunteering your place for. So - (clears throat) - we move the couch, here...
  14. We're really into origami n' paper crafts over here - normally, I'd say we'd prolly be all over this: Nintendo...crafts...but, this is really for parents to build w/ their kids. The gameplay seems to be as deep as 1 2 Switch. It's the novelty - the experience of building and using. I think the demo that is going to be 'into' this will be under 12, despite this pretty much appearing to be targeted specifically at 12 year olds. I can't imagine the younger (under 12) kids' interest in... ...lasting more than a couple of hours - which will prolly be as long as these elaborate cardboard-constructs' functionality will survive in their hands. ^ How long is all that gonna hold? It's gonna be the 'older' kinda kid that's gonna be using this - for this: $80 bucks, tho? Hey, I mean - if the kid is having fun, that's the point, right?
  15. Uuugh...expectations tempered. Reminded of "the machine".
  16. Heeey, wait a minute... LOL - if they added like, online multiplayer to Hyrule Warriors - gangbusters. I'd be on that like, white on rice on a paper plate in a snowstorm. Maybe in a sequel. Playing this arcade-like mindless button-masher w/ other buds online? Man! W/ the tons of characters - that's tons of variety n' replay. I would've held out on releasing this, to incorporate online - then treat the release as a AAA must-own on Switch, once the online pay-service gets 'Switch'd' on. But, (shrugs) eh - they can just get away w/ just a port...but, imagine Hyrule Warriors online. That's what they shoulda dun w/ dis.
