MusicManiac
I have that one too... although Im not fond of the way the 2 disc overlap eachother inside, and a booklet would have been sweet. Reverend Jax
Sigh, that is the cover of the import version from Canada. Back in 1999, the movie was set to be theatrically released. Then, right before the marketting campaign was about to kick off, Columbine happened and the studio scraped the movie all together and it was lucky to make it to home release. The company that they sold the distribution rights to in the US cheaped out and opted for VHS only. DVD was still cutting edge back then, but most new movies were getting DVD releases. The companies that got overseas distribution rights all did DVD, but the only country that makes Region 1 other than the US is Canada. Back in 1999, I spent 4 hours looking online for a site that sold it. Sinc eit was a limited run in Canada, and US comsumers that wanted the DVD had only the Canadian DVD to turn to, most site showed "out of stock." I found one eventually. The dvd menu is pretty cool (for 1999) but teh features are basically nil (the trailer fo the movie). I regret nothing!
The NZA
I wanna hear about the alleged sequel, "More Snakes on a Plane", and if not, i want a script written, possibly by 2T.
MusicManiac
Jonathan Mostow to Helm Sub-Mariner! Source: Variety September 13, 2006 Namor: The Submariner Universal Pictures has signed Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines director Jonathan Mostow to rewrite and direct Marvel Studios' Sub-Mariner. Variety says Mostow has cleared his schedule to make Sub-Mariner his next film. The comic, created by cartoonist Bill Everett in April 1939, centers on a young man who discovers he's actually a descendant from the long-lost kingdom of Atlantis. He turns out to be the key man in a brewing war between the underwater world and our own. Kevin Misher is producing through his Misher Films along with Marvel Studios. Universal's Peter Cramer is overseeing for the studio, Kevin Feige for Marvel. David Self wrote an earlier draft of the screenplay.

Reverend Jax
Chris Cornell or Audioslave and formally Soundgarden composed and recorded the theme to Casino Royale. It's called "You Know My Name." It is the first theme song since 1983's Octopussy to use a different title than the film, and Cornell is the first male performer since A-ha (in 1987's The Living Daylights). It is only the fourth Bond theme (after the opening medley of Dr. No, the instrumental theme from On Her Majesty's Secret Service and "All Time High" from Octopussy) to make no reference to the title of the film. For some reason, the song is absent from the tracklisting on the soundtrack, which will be released on November 13th.

Ganny McVagflaps
The Simpsons Movie is going to suck balls? All signs point to yes, but a boy can dream. I was e-mailed a link to this from a friend and looked at it and then instantly forgot it. I was checking my mail again when I remembered. The fact it hasn't shown up anywhere on Hondo's says something...
Reverend Jax
It's been mentioned on Hondo's, it just there's not much to say. It's not like they're jumping on a newest thing while the trend is still hot. Obviously since the beginning of the Simpsons there has been a desire from fans to see a movie, but they've avoided doing one until know. Matt Greoning said years ago he wouldn't do one unless there was a story worthy of being made feature length, and if it took them 17 seasons to finally be happy enough with a story to run with it, I'd say they weren't offerly eager, and for me, that boads (sp?) well. Iambaytor
Any body heard any news on Bubba Nosferatu, My Name is Bruce Campbell, or House of Re-Animator? Last I heard Bubba was filming, Bruce was in post production, and House had signed William H. Macy to play the re-animated president but I've not heard anything else. Anybody seen any trailers or anything in their dealings with the interweb?
