La Lindsay
Which means we'll get it around March 07. :( well, we have the 3rd season burned so we can probably send it to you guys so you don't have to wait that long. no one should have to wait that long for genius. Posers. I was watching Arrested Development way before it was a cult hit. ha ha! nice try. i've been watching the show since before any of the actors were even born. take that! Jables
Yeah! Fuck you Rasta!! Lindsay, that'd be the awesomest thing anyone could ever do for Alana(and to a lesser extent myself). She wakes up periodically with the night terrors, reaching over to slug me & ask why she must wait so long. Just finished season 2. Fucking brilliant. Found it a lot nastier & more clever than the 1st though. Eeenteresting.

The NZA
Ll basically sums it up as "the vast majority'd rather watch shows like "Joey" and reality TV; this show was just too good for our lot." i hate to give into her eletist ways, but its the same way i felt bout the Dreamcast. The NZA
LL says there's been interents talk on this lately; count me in "blissfully optimistic but waiting for something concrete". i can take only so much heartbreak.
Iambaytor
I know it's like you wanna get excited but you're afraid to. Hopefully with Sex and the City Movie, Serenity, and Reno 911 Miami having done well enough in the past couple years we can get this off the ground. The NZA
meant to ask that @ the AICN article: why the connection to Sex & the city, much less Reno 911? same studio?

The NZA
ah, right - but then, only Serenity feels fair cause the respective show was also cancelled. Sex & the City, for instance, i thought that always made money, for whatever reasons.
HypnotizinChikns
I would love it!! I will post a smiley just to prove it!
Iambaytor
ah, right - but then, only Serenity feels fair cause the respective show was also cancelled. Sex & the City, for instance, i thought that always made money, for whatever reasons. I think the point trying to be made is that TV show based movies can be succesful and thus it would be worth it to make an Arrested Development movie, there's been talk of a Sopranos movie being thrown around currently and Joss Whedon's been wanting to do another Buffy movie for years but Sarah Michelle Geller refuses to reprise the role (you know, cause she has such a booming career without it)
Jables
Man, I read an interview with Bateman stating the script is going to be "so out there", which gives me a bad feeling like they're gonna go 'big' to try and lure a new audience...
Reverend Jax
Rumors of this have been whispered for years. I will wait until they are officials on set shooting footage to celebrate.
CaterpillarScheme
So I finally got these on DVD and I am reminded of how utterly GREAT this show is. There's not a single person that doesn't carry his/her weight. Gob: I'm an ideas man Michael. I think I proved that with "Fuck Mountain". Narrator: While on the set of Wrench, Tobias had snuck into the costume closet and disguised himself as an English nanny in an attempt to see his daughter and prove to his wife he had what it took to become a successful actor. It was the exact same plot as Mrs. Doubtfire... Tobias Fünke: [after Lindsay answers the door] Why, hellooo. My name is Mrs. Phlyddia Featherbottom, the agency sent me over. Lindsay Funke: Uh... I didn't contact any agency. Tobias Fünke: But I can cook and clean and even take care of the little ones. In fact, if it comes in handy... I can sing a song or two... Narrator: And maybe a little Mary Poppins to throw in the mix... Tobias Fünke: A squirt of frosting down the throat helps to take your medication / In the most delicious way... Buster: Oh, my God, she's after our money. Michael: No, we don't have any money. Buster: Oh, my God, she's already taken our money. Michael: Gob, I'm going to need you to sneak Mom out of rehab. Gob: Gee, I didn't think the woman I'd be checking out at Spring Break would be Mom. Buster: She's better than the whores you date. Gob: Don't call my escorts whores. Buster: Mom's still got it. Gob: I don't date whores. Lindsay Funke: Stop it, both of you. This objectification of women has got to stop. Michael: It's just Mom and whores. Lucille: [upon discovering Lupe in bed with Buster] [to Lupe] Lucille: And yet you're too busy to polish the candlesticks? You're fired. Buster: You can't fire me, I'm your son. I'm firing you. Lucille: I was firing Lupe. Buster: O-oh, that makes more sense. There isn't already a thread for this is there? (and indeed there is... I wonder why I couldn't find this earlier??)
