Mr. Hakujin
S5E1 is a win all the way around. That last scene was just perfect (especially for us Skylar haterz). But the best scene? Plus, her face annoys me. This. Plus she had an affair w/ Ted. And she made Walt return Walt Jr.'s badass ride. Seriously, that kid needed a win and she fucked him and emasculated Walt simultaneously. And she's just a ball buster in general. Do I really need to go on? Panch
I think some of those should be in spoilers, Haku.
Iambaytor
Skyler's anger was understandable, her actions were not. I do agree though that she's redeemed herself by season 4's end however. She's not half as much of a monster as Janet Gavin was.
The NZA
hey so i just finished ep 6 of season 1, the part where he's all like "this isn't meth" BOOM and then *sees season 5 spoilers*
the division of joy
Totally your own fault for not catching on to this earlier after repeated pimping.

alive she cried
Doesn't it? The thing I love about this show, is that it writes Walt into such a corner. You're thinking there's literally no way he can last this episode, and then, how the fuck are there three more seasons?
Mr. Hakujin
Totally your own fault for not catching on to this earlier after repeated pimping. Also for him jumping on page 7 of a thread for a series that's been on for 5 years and not expecting spoilers.
the division of joy
I did similar kinda with mad men. Once I realised about half a post in that y'alls weren't using spoilers, I stopped reading.

Mr. Hakujin
A lot of questions raised this episode. Thoughts on S5E3: Is Walt intentionally driving his wife crazy? Did he manipulate Jesse into breaking up w/ that chick? Can Walt really "handle" Mike? WIll Walt stand for this "legacy cost" for long? Is this B&E pest control crew really gonna quit the game for easy money or are old habbits gonna die hard and cause trouble for the 'Sirs' later on? And why is this Todd guy getting face time--is it an intro to a character that will play a bigger part later on in the season? Nice to see Dumb & Dumber get a scene in the music store. the division of joy
That skyler breakdown kinda made the episode. I also wonder if the scarface thing is an awfully foreshadowing thing, what with Walt having that big ol' gun in the season opening flash forward. Mr. Hakujin
Motherfucking Todd. You knew things weren't gonna end well for that kid when you first saw him, but honestly I'd forgotten about him until those last few seconds of the episode. Such a great episode. The Lydia and Hank sequences were fantastic and the train heist itself was masterfully done suspense. Jesse Pinkman? More like Jesse James. Thelogan
I'm irritated that you bastards are watching the new season. I shouldn't even come to this thread. Thankfully, I have no idea who Todd is.
Panch
Yeah, I pretty much agree completely with Haku's spoiler. Great episode. For a second there I totally thought Todd was an undercover cop. And if he is, he waaaaay undercover now.
Mr. Hakujin
^^Naw. He's a relatively clever crook that's apparently watched Scarface one too many times.
Panch
Couldn't have been Scarface.
Mr. Hakujin
Heh. Good point, Panch. Also, regarding the series universe time frame... Is it bothering anyone else that all four of the previous season only took place in the span of one year? I don't think they mentioned a time frame anytime prior, but for some reason it seemed like it would've been longer than a year between the pilot and S5E4. It's not a huge deal, but it just plays a little false to me. I was thinking the series spanned about 2 years. And now S5 alone is going to span one year? Eh. Whatever. the division of joy
I like that Jesse is kinda coming into his own as a character. Twice this season he's been the brains behind an operation they've pulled off. Also, if that Todd dude survives the next ep, I've a feeling he's got a big part to play in the rest of the show.
