Keth
That's pretty sweet man. No weird backwoods gamersites either. It's that frame, it makes it look so authentic.
Panch
Awesome. I'm doing this. Logan, is that the map from the regular or special edition? I see no creases. Mine, obviously, has been folded into a nice little box. I'd prefer to not have that.
Thelogan
It's from the special edition, but it was creased to hell when I brought it in. They gave me a disclaimer that they might not be able to get the creases out. We were both surprised when they entirely disappeared. They mounted it on foam core and used a little bit of steam, probably combined with a little skill on the part of the framer.
Panch
I doubt I'll find anyone in this town that will treat anything with that kind of love, but I'm gonna try.
Thelogan
I went to Hobby Lobby, but of course that doesn't mean anything. I was a framer for a little while a long time ago. I can tell you that you usually get more care when you bring in anything that isn't the standard boring family photo and if you take recommendations into consideration. The job gets very tedious, and it's nice when something fun comes along. It helps if you don't get that look of terror in your eyes when they give you a price too, because then they think you'll actually come pick it up. Panch
Man, this might just become a DIY project :/
Thelogan
Well, if you go that route weigh it down really well on a flat surface for a couple of days (a bunch of those trades should work fine). It won't get the creases out, but it will make them less pronounced. Then get a really thick towel over it and then iron the towel, putting a halfway decent amount of pressure on it. I bet you can get a lot of the creases out.
Panch
I've, uh, put many-a-thing in-between my mattresses over the years. Some things may or may not be nudie magazines. Might have to make room for Skyrim map. Thanks for the suggestions, Logan.
Thelogan
Those things between your mattresses should go in the "makes you feel old" thread. Those relics will be a useless footnote in history to the current generation. Can you imagine how outstanding it must be to be going through puberty right now? Relatively speaking, I mean. Panch
I remember trying to watch (softcore) porn on scraggly cable. That was growing up. Can you imagine the sick fucks that are being created with everything on the internet now? A two girls, one cup generation of sickos. Thelogan
Ha! Yeah man, scrambled porn. I figured out if I recorded it, then used the auto tracking on the VCR, it became somewhat watchable.

Thelogan
Those were for daddy, and they're all excellent. This was for the kid. Oh, so it's like the Avengers? Yeah, it's in the same universe as the X-Men book you liked. These are the first book. Cool. How many books are there? (gulp) ...two. Ganny McVagflaps
I thought X'ed out was pure shite. So fucking upset as I thought it would be great. Not enough teen-sexually-transmitted fun.
Thelogan
Ah well, Chacun son goût. I really liked it. It's like if Tin Tin had a psychadelic induced nervous breakdown. I can't think of much Charles Burns stuff I haven't liked though.
Ganny McVagflaps
I usually like him, but that let me down. Is there a Black Hole thread 'cause that shit was ubnubleevable. We could chat that all year long. I wonder if Nickerlas or Punch have read it.

Keth
Specifically, Walking Dead books 4 & 6. Got them at half priced for 14.99 and 10.50 respectively (6 was 40% off). They didn't have 5 or I would have obviously grabbed that, but I couldn't skip on that price. I'll have to take a better pic of that shelf to post in my comic collection. What half price did you go to? The one off Harwood?
Keth
Yeah man, they are having a week long coupon thing. First day was 40% off, then it goes down by ten each day until Sunday, then you can use the 50% coup they give. I think you can use each coupon for two days 'cept the 50%. But yeah I went to the Harwood one :P lol Edited July 24, 2012 by axel_napalm
Iambaytor
-The fuck have those been every time I've been there? I go every week when I do the laundry. The bastards have been holding out on me!
