you had to go and fucking say it, didnt you? poor bastard just finished re-re-arranging to install the new wongtech 2.0 security devices, now he's gotta track down another panoramic camera and those're a bitch to find these days.

I guess I can open the dome and take a picture from the helicopter that I have flying around the area as part of my new security.

Re-upgraded this past week so it stands at 2.5 with killer robots that will rape you without any lube.

A "little boy" 2 player cabinet with a Neo Geo MVS board inside running Metal Slug at the moment.

So I'm finally getting an Xbox 360 and we got the fancy pack so it comes with a $50 Wal-Mart Gift Card, add that to the other card of equal value I have and my Christmas/Birthday money and I'm going to have a nice set of games to start out. It comes with Lego Batman and some racing game I've never heard of (Push I think? I don't know, it's probably shit) and I know the Fallout 3: Game of the Year addition is a definite buy, I'm thinking Orange Box and Bioshock to supplement my collection and then maybe if I've got enough left over I'll snag GTA4. Any suggestions?

Dude, not sure on the pricing there, but as you know here is generally about double the US price. Being that at launch the std ed was $159-179 and the Renegade was $299, I picked up my reg ed on boxing day for $99, but one particular retailer is offering the renegade edition for the same price. Dr Steve picked one up, and I know they can stuill be had at that price(all I'd need to do is rebox mine and take it & swap it for a renegade) but I truly can't be arsed. Anyone know of any key differences that might warrant such action?

So I was talking to Nick about rebuilding my game collection and I was thinking about buying the FC Twin Video Game System just for the SNES games. As it turns out not all games are compatible but all the greats can still be played.

The following SNES games and peripherals are not compatible with the FC Twin:

* BatterUP

* Star Ocean - Another S-DD1 dependent title.

* Kirby Super Star - Due to Nintendo SA-1 Coprocessor built (disputed) into the Cartridge (Compatible with Retro Duo system)

* Kirby's Dreamland 3 - Another title with the Nintendo SA-1 chip (disputed)

* Super Scope 6 - Gun will work, however you cannot use the controller: For it won't let two player mode work on such titles as Terminator: Arcade, Metal Combat, etc.

* Super Ghouls 'n Ghosts - Everything works up until the 3rd level boss which is incorrectly invisible.

* Dragon Quest I & II - Another title that doesn't work with the FC Twin, may possibly be related to the same reasons that Dragon Warrior 2 for the NES doesn't work

* Doraemon - Nobita to Yosei no Kuni - The over world map doesn't appear, just the sprites appear.

* Dragon Quest III

* Terranigma - The game has a special lockout chip which prevents use on famiclones

* Front Mission: Gun Hazard

Once I start saving up I'm going to try and buy 1-3 games per month.

  • 2 months later...

Living room at jax's came together nicely; the left bookcase of DVD's is obviously his. my game collection next to that is shaping up, custom covers for the Dreamcast games worked out cool too. not pictured: the rock band corner, natch.

My friend and I share a video game collection. In the event of their deaths the full collection is reverts to me. They are two of my oldest and closest friends from High School (and brothers to me) and we game together on the weekends whenever we can. The collection lives at Jason's house and my contributions (not pictured) are my import Saturn games and Space Invaders arcade cabinet. John (his twin brother) is a manager at gamestop so we have a lot of random promo items.
