Reverend Jax
Oh it's fun. I did hit a Par on the easy (first 3 holes) course last night. Last night was a blast. Nick, my friend Victor (you remember him, tall skinny Urkely guy) says he has like 3 or 4 friends with Wiis. I'm going to see if after we set a day (the 15th or later) to play Wii at your place if I can't borrow two controllers. We might need to pus your couch back to play 4-player Tennis. soldier of fortune
One thing that has struck me about the wii, is the potential for fully fledged golf (tiger woods 2007 is out in march) tennis games there is on the wii, that is great. The golf is good fun, if infuriating at times, especially on the 9 hole course....
The NZA
RPG is still around? and yes, my furniture is highly moveable for wii-play.
Jables
Y'know I still reckon if the cat didn't need to be spayed I coulda prolly wrangled a wii this month...
Reverend Jax
RPG is still around? Just because someone disappears from hondos doesn't mean they cease to exist. What night is good for you, Curtains and Lindsay for a wii night? PS I made Miis for the three of you named Niick, Lindsii and Senshiik. soldier of fortune
Jax, whats you're wii code, then we can share our mii's Mine is 2302 2675 7207 2262 Wario ware looks like an absolute hoot, i must have that game, and Rayman too looks pretty fun. Nanno's bro has a wii and he said CoD 3 is really good, now i'll have to play it, but i'd imagine graphically its not as good but gameplay is gonna be unique versus the highly glossed Pc/360 versions
bishopcruz
From Joystiq Until such time when mini fusion reactors are built into our wireless controllers, we will sadly be forced to buy batteries and recharge. As we reported yesterday, Nyko has developed a much needed Wii-mote dock with rechargeable NiMH batteries. A nice place to stick our Wii-motes and charge them at the same time. Suggested cost for the Wii recharge station is $29.99 USD. The Wii definitely needed something like this.
soldier of fortune
Nick linked to that earlier, and i agree, its something the wii should have had. However its probably something they'll bring in down the line, esp if 3rd parties are getting their act together. Nintendo won't want to miss out on the $'s, after all that is where they will make most of their profit.

soldier of fortune
Cool, Do you have a wireless router, cos i had no problems with it that way.
Reverend Jax
I do have a wireless router, and it finds my router when searching, but once it starts trying to make the connection, it poops out. I have to read the manual.
soldier of fortune
Do you have the security turned on on the router? I dunno, it was plug in and go for me, but your not the first i've read who's had problems.
Reverend Jax
When it comes to wireless networking, it is impossible to have these type of things worth without a hitch. It just doesn't happen. I do not have the security turned on.
Jables
I have yet to get it working online, but when I do, I'll drop you a PM. Is that a fact Dodge Jax? Too soon?

Reverend Jax
Is that a fact Dodge Jax? Too soon? I have a freakin Wii, if you're implying that I'm a liar (and since I can't think of any adjectives to describe Dodge other than 'liar' or something to that effect, I have to imagine that's what you're implying). Allow me to prove it. Me, my Wii and my Wiimote. The internet update screen it's been on for about half an hour. It's usually fails at about 90%. Ganny McVagflaps
heheheh. Are you plugging it straight into the wall? I had the same problem with my 360 and that sorted it. Sorry if you've addressed this already, I being in the NewT camp don't need to be hurt by you and your bastarding Wii.
Reverend Jax
I shall not plug it into the godforsaken wall. It's called a Wii cause it's all Wifi. If I can't have wireless, I will have nothing. It seems I'm finally not getting error messages, but each update takes like 20 minutes, that can't be right. Reverend Jax
OK, it seems to be working Dave. My number is 8782 893 5315 0649 I've registered your number. It says once you're registered my, we can exchange messages.
soldier of fortune
Cool, i'll register your number when i get home! Anyway, the internet perfomance esp on updates is really slow for some reason, maybe teething issues...
Reverend Jax
So it's not just me. Once we have each other registered, is there anything else we can do? Wii sports against each other?
Reverend Jax
hey guess where i'm posting from. my wii!!! hahahaha!
soldier of fortune
Personally, i don't think the internet channel is up to much. As yet, nintendo haven't launched the multiplayer platform across wii connect I'd say thats in the pipeline at the moment. Which is a shame, cos playing wii sports against someone who's miles away would be fun
