Jables Posted October 17, 2006 Posted October 17, 2006 Oh that's good. I like that! I like that a lot! Quote
APANCHALYPSE FOREVER Posted October 19, 2006 Posted October 19, 2006 And I'm glad you do! Oh and guess who has thier name on this book? Can you say "Jay Rowe"? Quote
CjDucky Posted November 5, 2006 Posted November 5, 2006 Nick.. since you have all these books that have all the individual issues in them... do you buy indiivudal issues? Quote
The NZA Posted November 6, 2006 Author Posted November 6, 2006 you can add Pride of Baghdad, WE3, Superman: Red Son, and a Kenshin art book to the pile. Im huped about Absolute Sandman vol 1 now that newt's guy can hook it up for $75. to answr your question CJ: I had 10 longboxes, and a lotta debt. I sold off 9, bought that bookcase with what was left, those're my absolute favorite stories and ones i wanna share. The last longbox of issues is shit not in trade (like Hitman). there was a point where i i was buying issues, selling off the arc and buying the trade, but it was a lot more work. Now, i bootleg the issues and buy the trades...itll do for now, as i still feel im supporting the industry. Quote
Jables Posted November 6, 2006 Posted November 6, 2006 Yeah I just sold off half my Transmet collection to FA for XForce-The longest Night HC, Vol. 7 of Twisted Toyfare Theatre, a few CW oneshots & some change for Ultimate Alliance. Oh, and the newest Runaways trade. Quote
The NZA Posted November 6, 2006 Author Posted November 6, 2006 tough call; transmet's hard to find in originals over here, but TPBs not as much. Which X-force one is that? and shit, i left off at Twisted Toyfare # 3 or so, i gotta catch up somehow. Quote
Jables Posted November 6, 2006 Posted November 6, 2006 X-Force is the new series 2T's been plugging(1st arc), so if this is shit then Du$t'll join the comic blacklist shared only by yourself for pitching crap like Deadly Genesis(I came around on WS). Quote
The NZA Posted November 6, 2006 Author Posted November 6, 2006 WS? and i said DG was fun, you and panch like chuck austen books. the only ones ive outright endorsed've been things like Walking Dead, New X-Men, few others...eat it! bru/morrison hater Quote
The NZA Posted November 6, 2006 Author Posted November 6, 2006 oh, X-Factor - yeah, downloaded the whole run to the current issue on your say-so, not normally the kind to catch wood over Peter David but ill give it a go. ps WS turned out to mean Winter Soldier., not WonderSwan. Boy, did i lose money in that stock....GBA-killer my ass. Quote
The NZA Posted December 16, 2006 Author Posted December 16, 2006 so, i told Ly & others (who im sending Preacher to, hopefully soon) that id have more room on a DVD for that and Junker's movie, so for others to chose from...this is what 30 gigs of downloaded comics looks like: ive got more on LL's drive and a few DVD archives, but these're the ones i actually plan to read uh, one day soon. Ganny McVagflaps Posted December 16, 2006 Posted December 16, 2006 What no X-Man. Fucking faggot. Quote
The NZA Posted December 16, 2006 Author Posted December 16, 2006 you know, i read that whole book up around # 50 or so, when he went back to the AOA, then i dropped off. if you could find a torrent of the final arcs by Ellis, id be down to see how it ended...he was to me what Azreal was to - a character that was shitty as soona s his big intro event was done, but you just kept coming back. dont act like you arent PMing me right now to get some of those books Quote
Ganny McVagflaps Posted December 16, 2006 Posted December 16, 2006 I went back to the AoA. That slutty Kitty Pride? C'est magnifique. Quote
The NZA Posted December 16, 2006 Author Posted December 16, 2006 i thought about going back to the AOA, and bringing sexy back, but im scared of any timeline where gambit can kill collossus. youd do well to notice the mahfood and skottie folders in my new collection, sir Quote
Lycaon Posted December 16, 2006 Posted December 16, 2006 I am compiling a list. Thus far it includes: Preacher Runaways Hellblazer Transmetropolitan Alan Moore Neil Gaiman Sin City Will Eisner The suggestion thread's to help me make my list. Quote
The NZA Posted December 17, 2006 Author Posted December 17, 2006 hmm...i dont have a lot of that on my drive, as ive read it. No runaways, Hellblazer i keep in trade, Transmet the same, Moore ive only got his obscure shit there - you read Watchmen, any of his movie ones like League or From Hell? Gaiman, Sandman's in trade, also only his obscure shit there. Sin City, same deal...uh....Eisner i got. so, should i just grab random stuff off my drive to fill the disc? man, i really thought others'd want some of that stuff, its a lot. Quote

The NZA Posted January 13, 2007 Author Posted January 13, 2007 ASCII: PM me your address and what you want, soon. might be shipping this ont next week or soon thereafter. also, 2T doesnt actually "have" those books per se; he illegally downloads them, and spits on the faces of our artists & writers. Ive asked him not to, to support the medium and buy trades, but he's all "fek you, its fer pussy n' beer." I now have to buy trades twice just to make up for him...and dont even get me started on skeet. Quote
