Well, he doesn't address the matter of her being constantly pregnant, about taking the calves away, and about reproductive issues. I appreciate that he is trying to undemonize his industry but I get the feeling that he is deliberately ignoring some of the ugly truths.

That says it all for me. But, you might taken into consideration that many celebrities serve as role models. Do you want a wife-beater as a role model? Also, many organizations have a code of conduct that they expect their members to adhere to. If you don't, you get booted. Even if it is your job. Some companies, not organization but provate companies, do not allow employees to smoke.

Disclaimer: I watched Ryan play this and finish this. And aside from running into traffic, trying to jump off a satellite dish, and fucking around with the tow truck, I did not play this. Very, very pretty. I mean that. Also, it feels very alive. Vice City felt...empty, like a deserted mall. This is the only other game in the franchise I'm qualified to compare this to. My main observation was the story. I really like the characters and their development, though Michael is a jerk. Strangely, I like Trevor the most.

Thank you. There is definitely a distinction. But, I still maintain that I've never seen a good pilot. I'm not saying they don't exist, just that I've never encountered one. Now first episodes...they usually are no better or worse than anything else presented in the first season.

Nope, I'm not wrong. Cause I've never seen the pilot for Lost. I'm talking my own personal experiences. I've never seen a good pilot. Really. If the writing and acting were spot on, the usually the production value was crap. Though usually it's a little of both. I've seen ones that are ok, like SHIELD and some that were just awful like Caprica. They usually fall somewhere in between. But yeah, point is, I learned a long time ago to watch the first season in its entirety before making a decision.

Watched this with Ryan last night. First thing everyone should recall: It's a pilot. It's gonna be a little sucky. There is not a single show ever that I have watched that had a good pilot. I mean that. I've never watched a pilot that bowled me over. This one was no exception. For all that, I think it's got potential once the writers hit their stride.But yeah, I am thinking that there won't be anything special about it. Instead of the 'homicide' or 'rape' a week thing that the police procedurals do, I think it's gonna be 'superhero' issue a week on Shield. Formulaic but still fun.

That's rather hilarious. I did not know this thread existed. I tend to favor ciders. My absolute favorite drink is what's called a Preacher's Collar here, which is Ace pear Cider and Maredsous #8. Actually, just thinking about it makes my mouth water. It knocks one on their ass though.

I read an article on USA Today a few weeks ago from a guy that actually got to play the game. You definitely have pay to win.

I loved the Pandora skit! But so far, the only song of his that I really enjoy is Locked Out of Heaven. It makes me wanna dance. The rest...its pretty generic. Don't love it, don't hate it.

Like the music, very much dislike the lyrics. But its hard to hit both of those targets.
