FUCKING AWESOME! Even if it's a 3D fighter I wouldn't mind (like the new Mortal Kombats). Just as long as they don't make it like Tekken or whatever, we're good.

I like it, i like it a lot. not to slight Tekken, but the news of this playing 2D was the best i'd heard in a long time.

This one's up there with Ghostbusters (for me) on the hype train, even if both are looking like 2009 at best.

More news about the game out. Info from an interview with the producer...

"A decision has not been made which platform the game will be on, the test version was build on PC" - Okay...

"Capcom is interested to bring the game to as many platforms as possible, no platform exclusivity" -Good news....

"Yoshinori Ono assumes the most suitable platforms to be PS2 or NDS" - WTF!?

Could you see...

"Hey Street Fighter IV is coming out"

"Oh awesome! What system"

"DS only"

"Huh?!"

Hope this was a bad translation.

Street fighter is the best fighting series of all time. yes, even better than virtual fighter, tekken, soul calibur, mortal kombat, you name it. street fighter has withstood the test of time. and yes even though there were about "50" different street fighter 2 with 50 different editions, it just goes to prove that one game has been able beat the odds and even still today its still popular with street fighter 2 HD for the xbox 360 download. street fighter 4 will have a 3-D feel to it, but a side to side classic movement to keep fans happy. sort of like what they did with the new castlevania for the psp. Cant' wait!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Was bored, figured I post. New Character

Crimson Viper ( I think it says that...)

A little too SNK-Falcoon for my taste (though I love Falcoon's stuff) and her name is kinda...not Street Fighter. Then again we got Thunder Hawk...w/e.

NOTE: For those not in the loop, Falcoon is SNK's character designer/artist guy.

Eh, seems more SF Alpha, doesnt she? anyway, T Hawk made sense to me since most of SFII was ethnic/national stereotypes, he just needed more firewater and a casino inna back, like balrog's level.

Well plus at the time you needed your stereotypical native american character.

Umm.. I wasn't talking about the character, but the name "Thunder Hawk". What i meant to say was that i always found his name to be out-of-place, much like the new character's name Crimson Viper. To me, both names seem out of place in the SF world. I mean, these names sound like they belong in...i dunno...the MegaMan world. Hell, they both sound like MegaMan Bosses. That's all, sorry about the confusion.

I didn't find Dead Or Alive 4 and worse than parts one through 3. We had scantily clad women, old men, and knockoffs of Hulk Hogan, Dennis Rodman, and generic brown haired japanese guy who knows kung fu (with guest star generic brown haired ninja with a sword he rarely if ever uses), breasts that were unnaturally large and bounced around like a water balloon hanging on a pump, and uninteresting button mashing that really did nothing more than try to be Tekken and Soul Blade's inbred lovechild. Also playing as the pink Master Chief was a dumb add-on.
