Mr. Hakujin
^^Noice! Especially dig Spidey-Cam POV shot at the end. Also looks as if they might go into his parent's past as spies...
Newtype
A much better trailer <object classid="clsid:D27CDB6E-AE6D-11cf-96B8-444553540000" width="650" height="370" id="gorillaPlayer_fstg002"><param name="swliveconnect" value="true"><param name="allowfullscreen" value="true"><param name="allowScriptAccess" value="always"><param name="movie" value="http://cdn.springboard.gorillanation.com/storage/xplayer/yo033.swf"><param'>http://cdn.springboard.gorillanation.com/storage/xplayer/yo033.swf"><param name="flashvars" value="e=4bffc0037b3a3a49328d685cccfc7c21cc002973d57a44951a38fddf065f5c696a66be9b89ee2d2f0947d4e15d253124c7d296b9a2a5d695fdd446d15f64f11765e48f3f75ea9b28f1c2de0d058862a02723d09accafe3f4ff222bb8b0&width=650&height=370&pid=fstg002&autostart=false&allowscriptaccess=always&usefullscreen=true"><embed src="http://cdn.springboard.gorillanation.com/storage/xplayer/yo033.swf" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" name="gorillaPlayer_fstg002" width="650" height="370" allowscriptaccess="always" swliveconnect="true" allowfullscreen="true" flashvars="e=4bffc0037b3a3a49328d685cccfc7c21cc002973d57a44951a38fddf065f5c696a66be9b89ee2d2f0947d4e15d253124c7d296b9a2a5d695fdd446d15f64f11765e48f3f75ea9b28f1c2de0d058862a02723d09accafe3f4ff222bb8b0&width=650&height=370&pid=fstg002&autostart=false&allowscriptaccess=always&usefullscreen=true&esnapshot=4bffc0037b3a3a493b90685cccfc7c21cc002973d57a44951a38fddf065f5c696a66be9b89ee2d2f094ccde2702233248cd5a1bda0badb96edc543995324f61d70e4ca6627b5db6fad849b14018b7ba63f22d1c093f8&trueurl=http://www.slashfilm.com/the-amazing-spiderman-teaser-trailer/"></embed></object>
C_U_SPACECOWBOY
Take a look at 1:18 in the teaser. ORGANIC WEBBING!! It appears that the mechanical web shooters are merely the delivery system for his own organic webbing. Thank god. I can buy that.
Mr. Hakujin
Yes, MUCH better quality trailer, Newt. Thanks for the link. And you're spot on Spacecowboy. I couldn't tell that he was pulling webbing out of his neck in the trailer ASC posted. If this is the case then it's a brilliant compromise w/ the previous trilogy's establishment (and more "logical") use of organic webbing vs. fanboy nostalgia for the mech shooters. Ron Hightower
I just don't understand why people can't buy that a 15 year old kid can create a device just from his knowledge of chemistry, but CAN BUY that that same kid uses that device to swing from skyscrapers and can stick to walls. Smh.
Visitant
Looks like it's gonna be made for 3-d, and looks like a fucking video game at the end.

Thelogan
That was the first comparison I made to it. Nicely done mashup there, Space. It totally looks like a video game, but it looks like a awesome videogame. I think we've started a fad now where I post a grainy, scarcely visible leaked trailer, and then a few days later Newtype posts the same thing in gorgeous HD, I guess he has patience and appreciation for artistic integrity or some shit. Thelogan
Fuck. I never thought I'd say this...but I like this young man. He has moxy. He's either one nerdy motherfucker or he's one hell of an actor. It's a good thing either way.

Mr. Hakujin
Yup, Andrew Garfield one-upped Michael Cerra's in-CAP-neato costume from last year's SDCC.* *Sorry, Gene. I couldn't resist. Also, in an ironic contrast to Garfield's heartwarming nerdery, Rhys Ifans lived up to his role as the villain and got drunk and arrested @ Comic Con. ...Ifans, who smelled of alcohol, became irate when a member of his entourage was unable to enter the hall for lack of proper credentialing, police said. They said he shoved the guard in order to pass through, and was allowed to participate in the panel, but the guard subsequently made a citizen's arrest. A spokesman for Sony said that Ifans "deeply regrets the incident."... ..."Rhys Ifans (the Lizard in the new "Spider-Man" movie) was placed under citizen's arrest for battery on a security guard. A member of his entourage did not have proper credentials for the entrance he was at. He was abusive, belligerent, and aggressive, and shoved a female security guard aside to shove his way through. After the panel, he was cited and released. He was verbally abusive to all around...security, the PD and the USA. After receiving his citation he left the venue." Iambaytor
Spider-Man "The Shitty Old Ones": Starring Tobey Maguire, Kirsten Dunst, James Franco, Willem Defoe, Alfred Molina, J.K. Simmons, Thomas Hayden Church, Topher Grace, Bryce Dallas Howard, James Cromwell, Dylan Baker. From the director of The Evil Dead Trilogy, A Simple Plan, The Gift, Darkman, and For Love of the Game The Amazing Spider-Man: Starring Emma Stone, that one guy form the Facebook movie, the bad guy from Hannibal Rising, Martin Sheen, Denis Leary, Sally Field, and peculiarly enough C. Thomas Howell and Embeth Davidtz (Whom I can only assume is in the movie just as an extra special "fuck you" to Sam Raimi.) From the director of some music videos, (500) Days of Summre, an episode of The Office, and the pilot of a TV show that I have no interest in ever seeing. And it's written by Steve Kloves, the visionary who brought us all the Harry Potter screenplays and apparently a draft of Amerakira. Also Alvin Sargent who co-wrote the second movie (which is fine with me but probably not with you cause he also co-wrote the 3rd.)
